But it's Bonito in the Pantanal so don't expect everything to work all the time. Staff courteous and kind and try hard but you need rudimentary Portuguese because Zagaia is popular with Brazilians so only one or two of the staff encountered spoke rudimentary English. Henriques was best. Zagaia works hard to stay clean, convenient and friendly. Even though it... More

We liked very much the outside area and the pool, also the food was great. However, the room decor was quite poor, especially the bathroom showed that it already has been used a lot. The pool chairs are old and of cheap white plastic and should be changed as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful; however, they hardly... More

The hotel is located outside the city center of bonito (about 45 minutes walking distance) and covers a vast area with various options for sports activities (including fishing in the hotel owned lake, tennis and water volleyball). Due to he location outside the city center you get the opportunity to get in touch with the wildlife (mainly birds) even on... More

Zagaia Hotel is located one kilometer out of Bonito. You must rent a car to easily get in and out of the hotel, but in general you must have a car in Bonito to get to the different touristic spots, that sometimes are far as 50 Km. The hotel has a very big green area, understandably complex to take care... More

This mostly bungalow style hotel is spread out over several acres on spacious grounds. Outdoor and (heated) indoor pools and rightly calls itself a resort, as we were able to relax in its peaceful surroundings. From the pool you can watch the spectacular sunsets Bonito is so famous for. The hotel is at the end of the town of Bonito... More

People told me that this is the best hotel in Bonito. The hotel amenities were great, dinner and breakfeast were good too. The room was good but old, shower good too but old. The staff was great, always helpful and pleasent.

This place was a good deal for a trip with the kids. Infrastructure according to our expectations, location close enough to the city (by taxi or bike) without the noise or the crowd. The room was average, clean, missing only a few more hooks to hang our stuff on, and a better set of toiletries. One of the few choices... More

Zagaia is a real resort hotel. Great leisure area with pools, jacuzzis, sports facilities, etc. The personnel is attentive and polite. The breakfast provided many options on the menu including fresh pancakes and omelettes made in loco. The dinner was special with a great buffet including barbecue and dessert. The only drawback in my opinion, if it can be called... More

THE HOTEL First of all it must be said that you don’t visit Bonito to stay at a hotel during the day, but to see the area’s attractions which often fill a whole day. Typically you merely need the hotel to spend the night, have breakfast and maybe dinner and to spend there some of those hours that are not... More
