This is rated as one of the best hotels in Bonito, but be aware. The prooerty is really gorgeous. We stayed in a master suite which was not luxurious, but ok. The problem there is the service and the food. Service was lazy; basically non-existent. The food is absolutely terrible. We were on a half-board package but dined there only... More

Zagaia is Bonito first high quality resort and i have heard a lot since i was born in Campo Grande. Its a great place for kids and to relax. There are many activities to do around the pool, mini golf and tennis court. However, pool snacks and dinner should be better for a 4 stars resort and our rooms should... More

If you like big resorts its ok. We where supposed to be booked in a small cost pousada so it wasn't what we where expecting. It has nice pools, nice areas and great recreation for kids. My kids loved to come at night to meet lots of kids and play. Big buffets with lots of options! Big and clean rooms

I stayed an entire week at the Zagaia Hotel . Arriving at the hotel which is located about 4 km from the city of Bonito, the settings is superb for it sits on top of a very small hill and is a spread out property. The pools and the restaurant also make a very tropical an agreeable environment. Unfortunately I... More

But it's Bonito in the Pantanal so don't expect everything to work all the time. Staff courteous and kind and try hard but you need rudimentary Portuguese because Zagaia is popular with Brazilians so only one or two of the staff encountered spoke rudimentary English. Henriques was best. Zagaia works hard to stay clean, convenient and friendly. Even though it... More

We liked very much the outside area and the pool, also the food was great. However, the room decor was quite poor, especially the bathroom showed that it already has been used a lot. The pool chairs are old and of cheap white plastic and should be changed as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful; however, they hardly... More

The hotel is located outside the city center of bonito (about 45 minutes walking distance) and covers a vast area with various options for sports activities (including fishing in the hotel owned lake, tennis and water volleyball). Due to he location outside the city center you get the opportunity to get in touch with the wildlife (mainly birds) even on... More

Zagaia Hotel is located one kilometer out of Bonito. You must rent a car to easily get in and out of the hotel, but in general you must have a car in Bonito to get to the different touristic spots, that sometimes are far as 50 Km. The hotel has a very big green area, understandably complex to take care... More

This mostly bungalow style hotel is spread out over several acres on spacious grounds. Outdoor and (heated) indoor pools and rightly calls itself a resort, as we were able to relax in its peaceful surroundings. From the pool you can watch the spectacular sunsets Bonito is so famous for. The hotel is at the end of the town of Bonito... More
