My family and I stayed at Hotel Cabanas back in April. The stay was fantastic. Great customer service and accommodations. There is plenty to do in the hotel from archery to kayaking, there's never a dull moment. The hotel also has a nice pool by the breakfast area. The room we stayed in was spacious and the beds very comfortable.... More

We originally only planned to stay here two nights but we loved it so much we ended up staying four nights. The treehouse accommodation is really cool - we had monkeys climbing on the roof at one point. There are lots of activities (some free) on site so you can really enjoy your surroundings. Lots of choice for breakfast. The... More

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Cabanas. Pros: Free activities (Kayak, trail guide, bow and arrow - 10 shots), great area to enjoy nature (you can even swim at both of the rivers), animals (monkeys, greater rhea, red-and-green macaw, several other birds, etc), fair prices on food and drinks, several activities that can be done without leaving the... I have several things that I didn't like about this hotel, but in the end, it's worth staying here for the activities and the animals. They had several animals walking around the property and several more that they had in the reception area (araras - the large macaws). This was especially fun for us after we had seen these birds... Hotel Cabanas has a gorgeous location surrounded by vegetation and wild birds (even an on-site emu). The rooms are spacious and clean and the sun deck and swimming pool make for a welcome break from the heat and jungle activities. The staff are very friendly and service minded. The location was perfect since we were there with a car, but... More

During our stay in bonito we stayed in hotel santa esmeralda and hotel cabanas. There were a wide variety of animals to see at the cabanas and that was my faviourite part of my stay, though I only stayed for 1 night. The staff were very friendly and we were greeted by english speaking staff member. Nice breakfast. Clean rooms.... More

We have spent 4 nights in Cabanas, in the wood bungalows. The place is amazing! Rivers, kayak, animals, archery, plenty of activities for families. Staff is very helpfull and nice. The bungalow is a real experience and mokeys come to visit you very often! :) the only issue in the cabana is the bathroom, a bit out dated and the... More

The rooms are clean and nice but it is mainly the location which is great. Waterfalls are on the grounds itself and the tube ride is fun. The restaurant is good and staff is super friendly. Nature is abundant.....the only set back is that it is a bit out of town and if you do not have your own car... More

We (my wife and I) stayed at Cabanas as part of our honeymoon. We stayed in one of the tree houses which was comfortable although a little on the small side. On first arrival, a cold front had just passed through, so the rooms were cold and with no way of heating the rooms, the blankets provided were much in... More

I was here in April 2012. Its like living in a pristine real jungle with all sorts of animals around you. Restaurant makes tasty foods. Rooms are comfortable with hot and cold water. BREAKFAST is ok, not great. Jungle trail are great.
