Nice design hotel, with a great view to the lake and a polite and helpful staff. You are guaranteed to have a great night of sleep. Breakfast could be better, but not a major problem. It is worth what they charge. Definitely would stay there again.

The hotel, built from Oscar Niemeyer, got style of course! It's also a typical star hotel with all the trimmings: clean room, balcony, minibar, 24h room service and a really great swimmingpool with service too. Unfortunatly the restaurant was closed when we have been there. Instead it took place in the hotel lobby, what is not the best place for... More

We enjoyed 2 nights at the Brasilia Palace in the middle of January. The hotel is away from the main tourist sites but then not everyone would like the hotels which are closer - bland chains. The Brasilia Palace has character and we were pleased with our choice. The reception staff were very helpful and Oscars was a big hit... More

As 1st time tourists in Brasilia, we felt we had the choice between some very standard business hotels and big chains or a true design icon. We chose the latter. This Niemeyer hotel is certainly a must for design fans, but don't expect it's been treated as a legend. Certainly some renovation in the rooms would do no harm, especially... More

If your interest is the architecture of Brasilia, this renovated Niemeyer hotel, abandoned for years and newly renovated, is the only place. Great mid century style, picturesque lakeside setting, spartan yet generally sympathetic room furnishings. Very attractive restaurant and public rooms. Not ultra luxury, but the character of the place more than makes up for its minor deficiencies.

I stayed in this hotel with a large group of about 80 people from 20 countries. We were all participating in a work meeting. The hotel was an excellent choice to accommodate a large group like ours. The food was part of our package and it was very good (I LOVED the pan de queijo) and had great variety. The... More

The hotel is a landmark building in itself, as it was designed by Oscar Niemeyer. In my opinion, it is not a good design for a hotel. The rooms are located along one very long corridor which makes for very long walks from or to the elevators. The rooms are appropriately sized with modern bathrooms and balconies, although they feature... More

If you like Oscar Neimeyer's architecture then a visit to this hotel is a must. It was sympathetically rebuilt in 2005 following a fire in the 1978 - it's not identical to the original, but that's probably a good thing! I think the public areas have been restored to a close representation of the original. The rooms are simple, clean... More

In a city where all hotels are clustered together, I jumped at the occasion of staying out at the “out of the action” Brasilia Palace. Its lakeside setting made for a quiet alternative, and the opportunity to stay in a Niemeyer original is an added bonus for those interested in architecture. The hotel is set in the “North Hotel Zone”,... More
