We stayed for three nights, loved the architecture and the layout. Pros: - Spectacular architecture - Huge balconies - Quiet and friendly The not-so-nice`s: - It isn't your typical luxury hotel - the staff is freindly, but awkward at times, most of them struggle to speak English - No shops on site or within walking distance (but well, that is... My wife and I decided to have a spontaneous night away from the kids. Booked through Hotel.com turned up an hour later and started the long process of checking in. So far so good. Loved the interior, big fan of the design and being away from anywhere in Brasilia is a good thing. My wife is a local and we... More

We spent 2 nights there during our visit to Brasilia and to my opinion this is THE place to stay if you are interested with the architecture from Oskar Niemeyer. Every room are well renovated and the furnitures are original. Good level of service, convenient location, large bedrooms, quiet environment. The restaurant Oskar in the hotel is also good if... I've stayed there for 2 nights with friends on a leisure trip. I liked the hotel very much. Great Niemeyer design everywhere, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is not really centrally located, so you need a car or taxi to go into the centre or you're looking to eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel (Oskar is their... More

As a tourist, you are probably going to visit Brasilia for its architecture and city design. You are only doing this if you are interested in architecture. For example, I did not want to visit Brasilia first but my wife insisted so we went for 2 days. I am glad I did because it is a side of Brasil that... More

Beautiful quiet design hotel at the artificial lake in Brasilia. Amazing design by Niemeyer, which genius this hotel breaths in every corner. Great value for money. Highly recommended. A taxi is needed to visit the city, but that counts for the city as a whole. This city was not designed for walking!

As on of Oscar Niemeyers first buildings in Brazilia it of course breathes history. Ant the value for money is substantially higher than in overpriced Rio. If you are in for the aesthetics of the 60th/70th it is a great place, however the atmosphere could be percevied as frosty. In any case it is mor interesting than the luxury just... More

The beautiful 50ties modernist building designed by Oscar Niemeyer and the perfect service and hospitality makes you feel you stepped in a 50s James Bond movie. Very stylish chic: everything you need but no unnecessary frills. And I loved the excellent breakfast in the open air.

The hotel was very clean and very quiet. It was wonderful having breakfast included. Dinner at Oscar's restaurant was delicious, very nice setting. While we did not go into the pool it was a lovely area and looked inviting. Would highly recommend. It is about 10 minutes from the main part of the city and very relaxing.
