THREE months before our reservations were scheduled, realized, due to nature of our extended family needs (larger number than anticipated, each wanting own bed, and several not knowing if could come or not) this was not a good fit for us. When she called to ask for deposit, I explained I had just made alternative plans. She literally sobbed, said... More

My daughter and I went to Appleton to visit Lawrence University and stayed the weekend into Monday. Judy was a tremendous host, making sure we were comfortable, knew where to eat, and had information about the local attractions. Breakfast was incredibly delicious. We were delighted with our stay!

Our first trip to Appleton was to see a show at the Performing Arts Center. We love the beauty and character of the B&B. Judy was very accommodating with my gluten free diet and helped us choose a place to have dinner. We will return!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with Judy and Ron in their fabulous Franklin Street Inn in November 2014. I was in town from Ireland to see the Packers and explore Wisconsin so it was a very special part of my trip. The Inn was a great base and over breakfast on game day I was lucky to meet some... We spent the weekend of Nov 14-15 2014 at the Franklin Inn. It was a great experience for both of us. We were treated like royalty. The Inn is a perfect blend of Victorian charm and modern amenities. The food was delicious, and service was exemplary. Definitely worth the money. We will be booking a room at this Inn again.... More

A lovingly restored Victorian setting, a few minutes walk from Appleton attractions is matched by the attention to detail, lovingly prepared meal, knowledge of local history and congeniality of the hosts.

The owner was a warm-hearted lady. Her breakfast was really delicious. My original purpose of traveling was to go to High cliff state park but her inn totally became the whole impression of my trip. I would definitely go there again.

Hi Judy, I wanted to thank you for finding and returning the earring I had lost on our second stay with you. Sorry for the short notice but it was a spontaneous visit. We had no idea we would end up in Appleton area, but I am glad we did and were able to get one of your rooms. Because... More

We ended up staying g in Appleton during the area's busiest time of the year, the air show in Oshkosh. We had no idea as it was our first time staying overnight in Appleton. All of the hotels were full and there was only one room available at this B&B. Well, lucky us. It was great. The room was small... More
