My husband and I stayed at the Franklin Street Inn after searching B&Bs online. Website was very nice and easy to navigate. Breakfast was excellent and Inn keepers very pleasant, helpful, and very passionate about their establishment. Though our stay was short, we were very glad to get away on a "babymoon" more

We were scheduled to stay with Judy on 10/10 but due to a family emergency we have to leave at 7pm that evening. Judy allowed us to return at a later date for our stay--at no charge!!! I also left my jewerly and other items in our rush to leave. Judy kept these items in her safe until we could... more

The owners have made this wonderful Victorian home into a very comfortable place to relive the late 19th century. It is located near downtown Appleton which allows easy walking access to many restaurants and local attractions. Couple that with great breakfasts and service and you have the formula for a wonderful experience! more

We stayed in the Turret Suite, which at first glance is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I love to stay at B&B's, but some minor details could make it an even better experience. First of all, you have to pay with cash, no credit cards unless you want an upcharge. We paid in cash, but were $2 short on the payment... more

My son and I stayed at the Franklin Street on April 4 and 5 when visiting Lawrence University. It was the perfect location as we could just walk to the campus and not worry about parking. The hosts were generous enough to let me keep my car parked there even after I had checked out! The hosts were gracious and... more

My Husbnad and I have just returned from staying at the Franklin Street Inn. We have stayed at severl B&B over the years and this was our first here. The room we stayed in was on the third floor, it was the whole third floor. The decor and attention to detail in the room was wonderful. There were many little... more

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending Valentines day weekend at Franklin Street Inn, and we were very impressed with all of the little details that were made to assure a romantic get-away. Late night snacks delivered to the room, fruit cut into heart shapes, delicious breakfasts, and fantastic cookies waiting for you at the bottom of the... more

Our stay at the Franklin Street Inn was the most romantic and relaxing weekend we could have ever hoped for… Innkeepers, Judy and Ron Halma did everything possible to make our stay magical. Judy’s incredible gourmet room served breakfasts were the icing on the cake! We were awed by the beautiful antiques and impeccable attention to detail. The Inn truly... more

This is the most home-like bed and breakfast I've ever stayed at...such family-like love and concern, such wonderful food, such comfortable facilities combined with such fascinating and charming accents all around! My husband's stay at AMC may end Friday, and your care for us both has meant a lot. I'll definitely recommend your inn to friends whenever appropriate. You have... more
