This was my family's second stay at the Hampton Inn Appleton, and we were very pleased again. We had reserved two rooms, and we were able to check in early to one while the other was cleaned. We've always found Hampton Inns to be excellent choices. This one was clean and well-maintained. The staff was courteous although we didn't have any extraordinary demands. Complementary breakfast in the morning was very good with cereals, eggs, bacon, yogurt, sweet rolls, etc. The breakfast room attendant kept the place well stocked and very clean. more

This hotel is conveniently located and the staff is very friendly. They recommended a restaurant called Black & Tan in downtown Appleton that turned out to be excellent. A bit pricey, but the food was fantastic. A very cosmopolitan atmosphere for such a small Midwestern town. My family has stayed at the Hampton Inn in Appleton twice, while our daughter was visiting Lawrence University. (They offer a special rate for families visiting Lawrence - a nice bonus for us!) I resently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Appleton. The staff was very nice, they offered to drive me to the mall and pick me up! The ladies at the desk were so friendly they made our stay so much fun. Thanks for a great time. We will be back again! more
