We were in for the 49ers game and decided to stay in Appleton because the rooms were more reasonable than in Green Bay and it is only 25 minutes further out. This was no Hilton, that's for sure...but for two young people traveling the state on a (very) limited budget, it was perfect. Never again will my husband and I stay here again. The hotel room is very small, it's said it was a non-smoking room yet there was an ashtray on the night stand. It looked like a decent hotel online. When we walked through the doors it smelled like animal urine. Bathtub was dirty. Door locks didn't work, including the security doors around the building that are supposed to need a key to get in. Phones didnt work. Very poorly trained employees.
