I expected a little more when making the reservation, but didn't really live up to that expectation. Location is very good and price was fair which included breakfast. Rooms are bit outdated, but definitely have a great view. Lobby was under construction during our stay so wasn't the best experience. Need more AC in common areas.

The hotel is right on the beach. The hotel is nice for the area. The rooms are very basic. I am a Platinum Royal Ambassador and did not get upgraded to a nice room. I stayed there for Business. The Check-in went smoothly. Room was nice. Connectivity was good. Breakfast was included and was a very nice one. The beach & Atlantic Ocean are just across the street. Lots of activities in the evening on the beach.

Iracema Beach is very central to Fortaleza. It's not necessarily a good beach for swimming, but from here you can go to various other places in town. And Holiday Inn was a very good choice. Fortaleza has a hotel chain above average when you compare it to any other capital in North, Central or Northern part of Brazil. Holiday inn belongs to this statement. Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. Hotel staff/reception staff is very friendly and caring. Breakfast is fair. Rooms are clean but dated; Swimming pool is ok but in shade after 12.00 noon. Fitness is old and machines broken or rusted. Should really be changed.

This Holiday Inn is across the street from the beach. It is about as far northwest of the "beach area" as you safely want to be. If walking the beach, go to the right out of the hotel.
