This place has too many good ratings here and on Lonely Planet. Not accurate to the real thing. Staff is distant and cold. It is tagged as "gayfriendly" on some sites, something far from being true. One of the nicer places we have stayed in in Brazil for 1/2 the price... For $USD50 it was a pleasant surprise... For a standard double... Nice and clean and a decent size to the room... “2 blocks from the beach with a very reasonable price and service.”

During a 10 days trip to Fortaleza, I decided to staymy last night in this lovely hotel, just 2 blocks from Meireles Beach. The room was quite clean, with air, TV, wifi and a good bath. The breakfast had a quite complete buffet. For R$95,00 or about US$50 surely is a good deal.

The hotel has a nice and small courtyard. The hotel has emailed me in advance to give me some useful information. But the room is very outdated.
