Villa Bahia is a must for those who are going to Salvador and want to to have the unique experience of bringing history to life. Friendly staff and excellent food are another plus. more

We were looking for a interesting place to stay in a central location. Villia Bahia was much more than hoped for. The hotel was unique and absolutely spotless. The rooms were very nice and each a bit different. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple (an omlette, fruit, etc) but tasty. We also had a fantastic dinner... more

Yes, we have a very good location, I would not risk to say that it is exceptional, in the middle of all the activities and attractions of this colonial district. Your preoccupation about the beggars and the dangerous streets is comprehensible. What makes the Pelourinho a charming place is the authenticity: everything here is exposed, the beauties, the ugly, the...
