We stayed at Boqueirao last January and this place is not going to be forgotten in our minds for a long time. We simply loved the decor, the staff, the food, everything. The breakfast was simply the best!!! Our room with the yellow patio suited us really well (family of 3) and was very comfortable. My 11old boy thought this... More

It is nice to read that after ten years this nice pousada is still mentioned as a perfect one. In december 2004 we stayed for several days and it looks that it is still the same or even better. Have a nice stay in this beautifull city and take a boat trip to one of the isles. We really will... More

Pro- about a 10min walk to main areas of Pelorinho so at night it was more quiet. We had the street facing room and it was very spacious with a hammock and a fan. Breakfast was varied with different types of cold meats, cheeses, cakes and other pastries. Con- husband is a light sleeper and on the weekend nights the... More

We enjoyed staying at this authentic pousada that is one of the oldest ones in Salvador. It has lots of lounge area where you can relax, it feels like beeing in a big family house. We had a large room with windows to the street side so it was a bit noisy in the evening. Probably it is better to... More

We stayed here in November. The pousada is located in two renovated houses in the old town of Salvador. It is a few minutes from all the amazing sights of this preserved old town yet it is a quiet location. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are high levels of cleanliness. We had no problems with the supply... More

We stayed in this Pousada for a couple of nights and were extremely happy. We were especially pleased with the size of the room (so make sure you book what you want - a rather bigger room or a small cozy room). The Pousada is in a great location in Santo Antonio - it is calm and quiet but really... More

The house itself is beautiful and well decorated. Our room was very spacious, with a balcony and a view on the sea. Wooden floors and a hammoc in the room as well, it's very cozy and decorated with taste. The pousada is perfectly located in the center of the old neighborhood (Pelourinho) and walking distance to the elevator and mercato... More

The Pousada do Boqueirão is truly amazing. Pictures don't do the place enough justice, it is a well mantained colonial house, beatiful and unique in its decoration. The owner Fernanda makes the best typical meals for breakfast and the rest of the staff is friendly, courteous and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and move around... More

1) breakfast! It's a fantastic experience! A long table full of fantastic and delicious plates, fresh fruit, moka italian coffee etc etc. The best breakfast of all Brasil, in a terrace overlooking the sea. 2)design! boqueirao is not a simple pousada, it's an interior design showroom. Full of handcrafts well selected, due to the great taste of the italian owners,... More

We would go back to Pousada do Boqueirao in a heartbeat...for several reasons! The warm and relaxing atmosphere of the pousada, the stunning view, the comfortable rooms, and most of all, the astounding breakfast! We had Room 4, which was actually a triple--very spacious and airy, with a view of the bay from garret windows (we were on the top... More
