The hotel is in a very convenient location with a breathtaking view to Baía de Todos os Santos. There is charming cablecar (that needs maintenance) that brings you to a deck over the sea where you can swim even in the winter, with fish swimming around. The room is huge but everything looks outdated and in need of renovation. Breakfast... more

Basically the only plus of this hotel is the dock that sits on the bayside and is open to guests for swimming and eating at the restaurant. A small cable car takes you down to it from the lobby which is quaint and all...but the hotel itself is decaying. yuck, our bed linens had holes. the hallways are scary dark... more

This is a 24 storey hotel that is comfortable but it has seen better days. The reception area looks comfortable enough and the staff are helpful but even in this area metal plates covering electricals are askew. At the back of reception is an open air area where there is a bar, and where breakfast lunch and evening light meals... more

I stayed on this hotel several times, just because of location, the private resting place over the sea (which one reaches by a cable car) and the amazing view of "baia de todos os santos". Having a high floor room with ocean view is a must. The hotel is a bit old, but the possibility of swimming in the sea... more

I was booked in by the organisers of the Transat 6.50 yacht race which started in France, finished in Salvador and stayed 6 days. The hotel at first sight looks a bit tired but my room was spacious with a fabulous sea view , beds comfortable, fridge and A/C worked fine, good shower etc. Breakfasts were really good - fresh... more

I can't say this is the best hotel I've stayed in, but it's not the worst! We booked this hotel based on it's location to where we would be doing some business. Unlike other reviewers experiences with the staff, I found them to be very friendly and helpful. When I arrived I found that my passport was missing. The desk... more

Disgusting. it needs renovation terribly. The view is great (if you get one) but you don't want to be in that room to look at the view. The elevator is scaring and the breakfast area is unbelievably hot with everything melting. Do go to Sanvador, wonderful place, but do not stay at the Victoria! more

My friends and I were so excited to head to Bahia for the first time. After reviewing a number of hotels and with guidance from a local tour guide, we decided to stay at the Sol Victoria. After booking online for 4 people and being promised a Master Suite with a sea view we were sent to a Master Suite... more

The good: If you are lucky enough to get a room with a view, you will never want to leave your room. In fact, their swimming pool has a gogeous view as well. Their breakfast is very good and the service is excellent. The Bad: My boyfriend and I stayed in the 22nd floor. We were woken up at 2:00AM... more

The worst hotel we have ever stayed at The front desk staff was very rude when we checked. When we went to the room we heard a terrible noise in the corridor so we asked them to give as a room in another floor and then we realised that the noise appeared when anyone in the floor switched on the... more
