Confortable and large room, good bed, excelent shower...great breakfast. This hotel looks like a resort, has golf, tennis couts, beautiful pool, but it's so far from the historical center, pelourinho...you must pay toi internet. Good choice if you looking for a place only to rest. more

I stayed for three nights at this hotel, it is pretty clean, nice rooms, beautiful pool. As far as hotels go in Salvador, if you are looking for the 'chain' experience versus the 'boutique' or 'Pousada'......Sofitel Salvador is the way to go. The grounds, pool, playground were great. The restaurant and staff (overall) were good too, although some fresh vegetables and salads would be a nice addition to the menu......the equivilant of a Seafood platter with... more

I liked: Very excellent breakfast, Very good service and staff with particular attention, Big swimming pool, sea-view. I disliked: little smell in corridors, water in swimming-pool should be better filtered. Location very far from point of interests. Car absolutely a must. more

Stayed one night. The hotel is average from all standpoints... It would need some kind of refurbishing. The place looks dull which in Salvador is quite disappointing... Very isolated and far from historical center. Close to the beach of Itapoã, but not so close!!! more

The Hotel have a nice service,a good swimninpool,good bar's and restaurant The instalations are nice .The location isn't the better,you have to walk a litle to the beach you are near from the airport more

Stayed in the property as part of South American Vacation with my parents in 2004 The property is so far from Pelourinho, we were always stuck in traffic going back. The location of the hotel is not exactly near the beach and can be a bit scary to walk around (we asians stick out like a sore thumb in Salvador)... more

Stayed here for a week in March and enjoyed the ammenities. The rooms, grounds, gym, etc. are all great. The staff speaks limited english. It is quite isolated as well, near the beach but not close enough to walk to, etc. I would recommend renting a car! Stella Maris beach is nearby and fabulous. more
