We really enjoyed our stay in this really nicely decorated hotel. Great value. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit, bread with Nutella, all sorts of sweet cakes. We stayed in room 23, on the 3rd floor, extra large bed and comfortable matress. I really enjoyed the electic kettle to make some tea. Efficient silent air conditioning. The staff was... More

Lovely modern hotel near the harbour in the city center of Salvador. Very friendly people easy going. Just that start of your trip you really want. They advise you where to go (and where not to go). Above all, a good deal, pricewise, service all excellent.

Perfectly located within the historic area of Salvador and at a walking distance from the elevator that takes you to the lower level of the city. The room was spacious with all the needed comfort (large bed, AC, minibar) however we did not have any natural light within the room as the window had a view over.....the plumbing of the... More

Waaaaw. This is a beautiful hotel! When i arrived i really felt welcome by the very friendly staff. The hotel is really artistic! It isbeautifully decorated with warm colours and a lot off Brasilian decoration and art. It's a warm and modern hotel, with a lot of space and you really feel at home. I was busy taking pictures for... More

Loved this colonial boutique hotel. Even if the rooms were small, we loved the design and cleanness. The personnel was very kind and supportive in advising the areas to see around. As for the location, it's super central, in the heart of Pelourinho so pretty safe unlike the other nearby neighborhoods (and the police van always parked on the small... More

Bahiacafe Hotel is a chariming, colonial building in the old center of Salvador, Pelourinho. Very good situated between te central square of Pelourinho and the elevator. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. The owner did a very good job in restauring the old building. The rooms are confortable, with a litle balcony and everything you need like a safe, airco... Normally, a botique hotel would mean that it is out of the way and has compromised convenience for the sake of art. Not so in Bahiacafe. It is located just next to the historic city center and the escalator that connects to the lower city. It feels like a restored building when you notice the wooden doors. The rooms are... More

Very well located minutes away from all the action and the elevator which takes you to the lower city, this is a great option in salvador. The rooms are big and there is a nice artsy/boutique feel to the place that we really enjoyed. Breakfast is served in a gorgeous room overlooking the one of the squares and have very... More

The location is hard to beat- five minutes to Largo de Pelourinho and right next to Terreiro de Jesus, in the heart of the historic district. Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast. The owner was there the whole time, and was very helpful. We were impressed with the tasteful design, combining historical elements with simple, modern lines. Free Wifi was... More

Excellent little hotel in the heart of Salvador! Great location within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurant, friendly service speaking English and really helpful in giving information, the room was the best of our whole trip (always booked similarly priced hotels), very clean and beautifully decorated, really liked everything about this stylish cafe hotel, would highly recommend it!
