I really like this hotel, the location is really good, not everybody wants to stay in Pelourinho but I think it is wothwile. The owner and the reception lady weren't that friendly as other reviewers have described, or approachable based on our one-week encounter! Those girls worked in the cafe were even less so! When we have been hassled on the street in the evening on our way to the bus-terminal carrying our rucksacks, the owner simply just stood by and watched expressionlessly...... more

The owner and staff at this hotel are wonderful ! The staff spoke a little english, but with my broken portuguese we made it work.They were so gracious, patient, and friendly and quite frankly made my trip to Salvador great.
