Beautiful, rustic boutique hotel. My single room was at the top of the building, airy, clean and although small, didn't feel oppressive. The area isn't quiet, due to all the music, but it somehow adds to the charm. The breakfast was lovely in a nice room overlooking the square. But the best bit was the staff - each of which... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy place in middle of Peularinho, old town of Salvador. Room was beautifully decorated and place felt very safe. Staff was all the time very helpful and spoke good English. We really recommend this place if you are staying in Salvador.

Loved this vibrant hotel on a main street in Pelourinho.Decorations with local flare so we really felt like we were in a charming area vs just a run-of-the-mill hotel. Staff spoke English and gave us a free room upgrade. Rooms was very spacious with a little balcony overlooking a side alley and even the water. Breakfast was huge - tons... More

Choose it for the excellent location. Which was awesome. Central to the historical area. We were surprised to find a helpful staff with excellent suggestions. The owner was personally at the hotel and made sure that we were able to maximize our visit.. The guide that the hotel scheduled for us was the most beneficial guide that we hired and... More

I loved this hotel - friendly staff who spoke English and were ever so helpful in any way they could; the its location was perfect for us and we would most certainly return. We loved the vibrancy of the area, it felt alive and we felt truly at home in Salvador. The rooms although not very large, were clean with... More

Lovely staff, amazing breakfast...typical Brazilian pousada. My advise to the people who didnt like the location, is don't travel!! It is well located in the old town, not good for beaches. It is 20 meteres from the main square and praca da se has homeless druggies sleeping out at night but sensible precautions suffice. I dont go to salvador for... More

The staff is very helpful and kind. The decor was really nice, gorgeous rooms, I like the rustic chic, nice breakfast & lovely views out of breakfast room. The WiFi didn't worked properly most of our stay, but we only stayed one night so it might have been just bad luck.

Stayed 2 nights with my husband. It is vey conveniently located in the historic center, excellent if you want to visit Salvador old town on foot - very close to most interesting sites. Breakfast is excellent! Variety and quality of food! Room was very clean and spacious and quiet. Staff very nice and helpful.

This old Salvador house is right on a square at the entrance to the historic town. The place may not look so safe at first but it is highly patrolled by police anytime of day or night. It is close to a terrace with a view on the lower city and the port. It is tastefully decorated in the Afro-Brazilian... More
