I loved this hotel - friendly staff who spoke English and were ever so helpful in any way they could; the its location was perfect for us and we would most certainly return. We loved the vibrancy of the area, it felt alive and we felt truly at home in Salvador. The rooms although not very large, were clean with... More

Lovely staff, amazing breakfast...typical Brazilian pousada. My advise to the people who didnt like the location, is don't travel!! It is well located in the old town, not good for beaches. It is 20 meteres from the main square and praca da se has homeless druggies sleeping out at night but sensible precautions suffice. I dont go to salvador for... More

The staff is very helpful and kind. The decor was really nice, gorgeous rooms, I like the rustic chic, nice breakfast & lovely views out of breakfast room. The WiFi didn't worked properly most of our stay, but we only stayed one night so it might have been just bad luck.

Nice hotel. Very quaint rustic chic hotel. Nice rooms, very clean. Nice breakfast with a huge variety & lovey views out to the port. The staff were very friendly, especially the two boys who were really nice & helpful. Highly recommend this place :)

Stayed 2 nights with my husband. It is vey conveniently located in the historic center, excellent if you want to visit Salvador old town on foot - very close to most interesting sites. Breakfast is excellent! Variety and quality of food! Room was very clean and spacious and quiet. Staff very nice and helpful.

This old Salvador house is right on a square at the entrance to the historic town. The place may not look so safe at first but it is highly patrolled by police anytime of day or night. It is close to a terrace with a view on the lower city and the port. It is tastefully decorated in the Afro-Brazilian... More

Only stayed one night, but can not fault it. Service was great, room was clean, included breakfast has traditional Bahian food and the stay was very comfortable, the staff even printed directions for me when I asked how to arrive at Nosso Senhor do Bomfim. The only thing that I could comment on was the Internet tended to drop out... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this really nicely decorated hotel. Great value. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit, bread with Nutella, all sorts of sweet cakes. We stayed in room 23, on the 3rd floor, extra large bed and comfortable matress. I really enjoyed the electic kettle to make some tea. Efficient silent air conditioning. The staff was... More

Lovely modern hotel near the harbour in the city center of Salvador. Very friendly people easy going. Just that start of your trip you really want. They advise you where to go (and where not to go). Above all, a good deal, pricewise, service all excellent.
