We didnt see too many options for decent, clean and well-located in Manaus and we were spending only one night on our way to the Amazon, so we decided on the Manaos Hotel. I have stayed several times in this hotel. I like it's location right behind the opera, the staff is very freindly and breakfast is very good. The rooms are OK, powerful air-conditioner but the bathrooms are not the best. The price is above average for Brazil but I think Manaus per se is expensive. more
