For convenience to the Teatro Amazonas it can't be beat and the price is pretty good also. Rooms are clean, they have internet, and the breakfast is pretty tasty, but they don't have much else. There is no room service or lunch or dinner service. Upon returning from the Amazon Jungle Tour I arranged to have a weeks worth of... More

I have been to the Hotel Manaos four times now. The Hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and well furnished. The beds are soft but firm, the television is big and has a few English speaking channels. The bathrooms are tiled with the shower more than adequately sized. There is a safe in each room for valuables and a... More

Hotel Manaos is in an excellent location on the opposite corner to the famous Opera House, and in the main shopping street. The room was very good, clean, very good bathroom, and air conditioned. Good breakfast included.

The Manaos is a very traditional hotel close to the Teatro Amazonas. Localization couldn't be better. All basic needs are fulfilled, the beds are big, new and comfortable, installations are ok, AC powerful, the room floor is new ceramic. The place is definitely a bit rotten (like lots of others in town), but it's clean, the breakfast is rich, and... More

Thanks for the feedback...We just don't agree with the "rotten" part, we think that "old fashioned" is the best word...we will be waiting your back to our town...see you soon! More

An interesting Hotel as first impression is that the decor is a little tired, that said what matters is service, the clean room we enjoyed, a window that opens to get fresh air, a great location and a good breakfast. This is the location to be within walking distance to the wharf, opposite the opera house and good cheap eating... More

I say this is the best hotel in the city because it's in the very best location - across from the Teatro Amazonas (aka the Opera House), which is the only clean and tranquil place to be in the city. In addition, the hotel is clean, has hot water, and offers an extensive breakfast buffet included in the price. Even... More

Like I said, we got off the slow boat in Manaus and were ready for a good nights rest on a bed (instead of the hammocks we'd slept in the previous 3). Checking in was fast and simple, even without a reservation. We checked out the room before settling, and it looked fine. I had to ask for towels and... More

Not many options in the town. The location is perfect for discovering Manaus, just across from the magnificent Teator Amazonas which is one of the few architectural gems that has been kept up. The hotel at best is 3 star. The room look very tired and there was mold in the bathrooms (which the staff tried to clean but could... More
