“Refurbishment”

Accor did not inform on the site the fact that the hotel was in the midde of major repairs. The reason I choose Novotel was because of its service, silence to rest after a long day, its breakfast and restaurant. “Very good for the price”

Near the Ferry, not central but great if departing to go up the Amazon. The rooms are clean and spacious. Pool and gym are basic. The restaurant/drinks are overpriced and yes, stay away from the lunch buffet!!!

“Not a bad place.”

It's an okay place to crash if you're transiting through Manaus (though it's kinda in the middle of nowhere). The rooms are clean and the staff is pretty good. The breakfast is okay too, but DON'T do the lunch buffet as it's $50USD and isn't that great.

“Dated hotel”

If you're going to Manaus on a business trip, this hotel may be a good option due to its location close to the industrial distric. The hotel is dated and smells funny. Old a/c system are old, noisy and believe me you will need on all night long. Breakfast is good as well as the bar.

“Price Promotion Not Granted--Nevertheless Still a Great Hotel”

Accorhotels.com stated a promotion in price for the month of March--which never was given. As I waited until March to reserve to take advantage of the price promotion, when I actually reserved the room in March, the price had increased. Our stay at Novotel, however, was great, as always. “Good Basic Accommodation”

We spent one night here on our way up the Amazon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the basics including comfortable bed and nice shower. Good air conditioning. I don't much enjoy giving bad reviews but this hotel was awful. First off it looks like mental hospital, two: it smelled heavily of mold in every room, three: the beds were hard as a rock and the blankets were absolutely disgusting, four: room service was terrible.
