This is a 30 year old hotel. Very accommodating, panoramic lift, good breakfast with regional flavor, helpful front desk clerks and a basic infra-structure for meetings. Checkin and checkout were fast and accurate. I had a front ocean view room which was not very big. Housekeeping works very well but amenities were very simple. Maceió is a city for those... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week with two other friends. Great experience and would definitly stay here again!!! The hotel is in the best location of Maceio: in front of the beach with its pretty green ocean, walking distance to several good restaurants and shops. Just in front of the hotel there are many "Tapioca" parlors at night.... more

Beautiful scenery (in front of the beach), convenient location (many restaurantes and attractions around), great service and food. Rooms very comfortable. A+++ more

We stayed at the Ponta Verde Praia for four nights over Easter. We found that the reception staff were rather rude and unhelpful; despite booking a double room over the internet (as two same sex travellers) we were automatically given a twin.
