Hotel is located in the main square and it is very short walk from the bus station. Staff is very pleasant and friendly and food in the restaurant is delicious. It is very affordable hotel and it has wonderful view from rooms. Room I stayed on the first floor in the new building is much nicer then the one I... More

Just back from 5 nights at Hotel Platani which is situated right in the centre of the attractive town of Trebinje. The Hotel is great, as is it's restaurant. Good modern rooms, decent facilities, truly excellent staff and loads (and loads) of very tasty grub ! We've got no complaints at all. The staff gave us plenty of local travel/tourism... More

We were advised by the Tourist Information to have some lunch at this hotel after we had explored the beautiful town. Sat outside and were immediately attended with menus. The waiter was not fluent in English but without us even asking he got another man to come and explain the menu which was such a good touch. After his explanation... More

Very nice hotel for a price set in the heart of Trebinje. If they are not too busy, they will give you a bigger room at no additional charge. Breakfast was average. Service great. Parking spaces in front of the hotel fantastic!

Trebinje was an unexpected surprise on our trip. Warm friendly people and a surprised hotel manager who expressed her surprise that they don't get too many tourists to these parts! The hotel was perfectly located near the town centre square, and ideal to see an authentic early morning market with loads of local produce bought solely by locals. We saw... More

The hotel is well located in the center of town surrounded by trees.  Staff extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and breakfast is good.   The city is quiet and peaceful for a nice break in between other expensive cities .You must visit historical landmarks wine cellars and beautiful churches, parks and restaurants.  It's much cheaper than the much larger... I've stayed here three or four times, always in a room in the newer section of the hotel. The room is massive and super comfortable and about a quarter of the price of something comparable in nearby Dubrovnik (30-40 minutes away by car). Also love the restaurant here. Always make it a point of having a meal or a drink... More

I agree with the previous reviewer that it is well worth paying just a tiny bit extra to stay in the better new building. Both are amazingly good value, but the older one is a little chintzy. In the new one I was given an incredible room which was big and stylish if slightly sparse. The receptionist spoke great English... More

Trebinje is my favorite town in BiH and it's in close proximity to Dubrovnik (a 45 minute drive). While Dubrovnik is ridiculously expensive, prices in Trebinje are more than reasonable. There are two Hotels under name of Platani (Platani I and Platani II). Platani II is way better because it's newly build with modernly designed rooms. Price for a single... More

We loved Trebinje and we spent 2 days in this nice hotel. The first time we went there on purpose to buy some wine (it is a great place to get it. Check out the vinarija Vukoje, it's very nice), the second one to run away from the crazy prices of Croatia. And we love it. Rooms are very simple... More
