The house is warm and inviting. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was fun and tasty. Johnny made us all feel like we were at home. He is a character and lots of fun. We enjoyed the views and the town of Alma. The armor museum is amazing and just down the street from the house. Enjoyed sitting on... More

The Tritsch House is the best! Absolutely comfortable and relaxing. The views, the host and the rooms - Top Notch! I would recommend a stay to anyone! Johnny does it right! The true B&B experience! Will definitely be back!

We booked just one night away to celebrate my birthday and boy did we make a mistake. We should have booked 3 nights away. We loved staying at The Tritsch House. Johnny made us feel right at home. It was easy to get to know the other guest in the house because of the friendly atmosphere. Our room was beyond... More

It was amazing! I thought it was like a castle in are room🎉 Tom and Johnny did a great job, I loved it. The breakfast served muffins, toast, fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, and some juice. My mom made some homemade black raspberry jam for Tom and Johnny the son. I want to come back to the Tritsch house. Ella

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny Elliott, the owner of The Tritsch House, when we arrived in charming Alma late on the Saturday afternoon of the July 4th weekend. The Tritsch House was our first choice for lodging and Johnny was one of the most accommodating hosts that we've ever met. He greeted us from his... More

I booked a room for my sister and husband from South Carolina. (It was her birthday) They were very impressed with what the Tritch House offered and especially with Johnny and his cooking abilities. Beautiful river view and great hospitality. We will for sure recommend the Tritch House to others.

Excellent! Love Alma and the other place we normally stay was booked, lucky it was because this is our new favorite place to stay. We rented out 3 rooms as we were traveling on motorcycles with friends. All of the rooms were great, would not hesitate to book any of them. We stayed in the Alma room which was in... More

This is a beautiful B&B in Alma, set on the high road that looks down on the Mississippi River. It has a cool parlor where you can play pool. The proprietors were super friendly and gave us great tips on dinner locations. We went to the brewery in Reads Landing, across the river in Minnesota along classic Hwy 61. Huge... More

We stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon and couldn't have had a better stay. Johnny was out of town working but we were welcomed by his very sweet parents. The house is beautifully updated and decorated with an amazing collection of antiques. Stayed in the Belle of Alma and it was great. The room is very clean and comfortable. Every... More

Lovely home, great updates. It's nice to stay in a bed and breakfast with a pool table, flat screen tvs, and lots a good cable channels. Johnny was very accommodating and fun. The room was very nice and there were great river views!
