We stayed at the b&b for a birthday celebration. Loved everyone! Johnny's dad greeted us and made us welcome, our room was lovely, dinner in town was fun, Addie made us a great breakfast and talked and laughed with us, we played pool on the beautiful table and finished the weekend off with ice cream in a secret garden and... I surprised my wife for our nine year anniversary and it was a time to remember. I met Johnny through my work and my marriage was grateful to have met him. It was our first time ever going to a Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I wanted to go somewhere we could relax and just be together without all... More

The Tritsch house is an amazing place. The little town has a wonderful back-story and this place is a very big part of it. Many blessings on John, the current proprietor of the B&B for lovingly keeping it available to the public. While off the main thoroughfare through Alma, the house thereby is a quiet location to rest and relax... More

Nestled along Wisconsin's beautiful River Road, the Tritsch House in Alma is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. The owner Jonny is young, gracious, and provides everything you may need. The rooms are remarkable, most with hot tubs, cable TV and tons of charm. Breakfast is a laid back affair with Jonny whipping up eggs upon request. Alma makes... More

Fortunately the hotel that we had reservations overbooked us and sent us to the Tritsch House. The whole house was filled with charming antiques, the room was very comfortable, and the porches were perfect for a warm summer evening. I wish we could have stayed longer! Even though the owner was not present, his dad filled in admirably, made us... More

My wife and I took the trip to Alma last week for a short get away. We selected The Tritsch House for our lodging after looking at the wonderful website and reading other Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The house was clean and beautifully updated in all the right ways, yet it still holds the charm of an... More

Tritsch House is a beautiful old house. Rooms are luxurious. Great beds. Jacuzi tubs. Big screen TVs. It's situated up against one of Wisconsin's beautiful bluffs. The owner was away and his Dad filled in. He was very welcoming and upgraded us to a bigger room which was great. The Buena Vista Scenic overlook views are awesome. He suggested places... More

This will be stay #2, and we will be in The Belle of Alma! Excited to motorcycle into Buffalo County the next day after a casual breakfast. This spot is set up on the bluffs of Alma...on your way up to the Buena Vista Scenic Overlook, where you can see down the Mississippi River Valley for miles in awe. Take... More

We stayed at Tritsch House for the first time several years ago and have returned at least once annually for the last several years. It's one of those places that maintains its quality and integrity through the years. The owner, Johnny Elliot, is an amazing young man who has taken great pride in this old home and keeps it clean,... More
