We spend 2 nights at Hostal Pahuichi (a night either side of our Jungle tour) and it was a great place to stay. We had a double room which was very large, comfortable bed, tv and large bathroom (with good hot water). Views out to the local area are nice and hammocks in the common area to enjoy a beer... More

I am a backpacker, 37yrs old, 40 countries visited, travelling with partner. Stayed in the twin room with private bathroom for 7 nights, 100 b per night for 2 people, the best option for this price in the village. ROOM: Spacious, nicely furnished, clean, bright, pleasure to live in, entrance from veranda, comfy beds, satellite TV,  nice bathroom, electric shower,... More

Lovely large room with big well screened windows on two sides. We stayed for a total of 7 night's in between trips from Rurrenabaque to Madidi, Pampas etc... Upper rooms of the tall narrow building have lovely views over the town, Beni river and surrounding area. Well located within easy walking distance of all you need. One of the best... More

This place is clean, cheap and the staff is very friendly. They also have a mirador from which you can see all the city and have a beer at sunset. Only drawback is that there is no wifi nor electricity/water in early morning

We stayed in a private double en suite at Pahuchi for one night after our jungle tour, because our evening Amaszonas flight back to La Paz was delayed until the next morning. After staying at a very average place before our tour, we shopped around a few other hostels in Rurrenabaque, and this was the best value we found. We... More

Again we looked at many hotels before choosing and this was the choice. It is rundown and mouldy, but it is a cheap option. On the top floor, floor 4 or so, the views are spectacular, and on the roof terrace, one higher, even more so. The rooms are large and the bathroom is fine, and the room has windows... More

We found this hostel is cheap and good. Large common area with hammocks and the place is very clean. The rooms are spacious and have good vans and good showers. Laundry service is available and staff is friendly. A pool would maske this hostal complete.

The Hotel Pahuichi is conveniently located across the street from the Amaszonas office. It is about $14 USD for two of us per night, with a private room, private bathroom, hot shower, but no wifi (which is not uncommon in Rurre). And, it has a beautiful courtyard, lovely views (especially from the top floor), hammocks, and a really nice room.... More

This is such a great place to be. Super clean and new rooms. Bar, drinks, laundry, food, hammocks, tea and coffee and dirt cheap for a massive room with great views. One issue is they dont seem to cater for any non Spanish speaking guests and just finding out the room price in broken Spanish was a mission. All the... More

We stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were huge and nicely renovated. The showers were hot and had lots of pressure. There's no wifi but the price is right. The rooms are clean and bright. Great stay and comfort for after the jungle or pampas.
