The hotel has a great garden with even mango trees and you can relax in the hammocks. Also the breakfast is simple but good. The rooms and bathroom were dirty. You must alwas turn the ventilation on as it is really hot. Wifi signal really bad in the back rooms.

We stayed just one night in a double room before going on a tour. For the price it was great value and whilst no frills it was clean and comfortable. Lovely shady outdoor space with some hammocks. A decent breakfast and very nice staff. Great value.

More backpackers than 5 star but still beautiful. Basic, clean rooms where you are woken by birdsong, beautiful central area with hammocks and swinging chairs to relax in. Very safe. Breakfast basic but fine. Lots on nearby restaurants for dinner. Beware of traffic on the square on a Friday night cruising around seems to be a major pass time and... More

For the price its good value. Rooms are very simple but clean. Family run by friendly folks. Breakfast also simple does not even include an egg. Common area / garden is very pleasant and why you should go. Wifi poor. Good spot in Rurre close to the nice quiet square.

As a place Rurrenabaque really doesn't have much to offer unless you're going on a jungle tour, aside from a few restaurants and takeaway places. However the Hotel is very pleasant. We were greeted by English speaking staff and offered cold juice straight away, a relief in the humidity. We were taken straight to our rooms which were clean and... More

We stayed here in September '14. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The courtyard garden is really beautiful with heaps of tropical plants and hammocks. The rooms are clean and basic, and typical for Bolivian standards at this cheap price accommodation.

I stayed here twice, either side of my pampas tour. I´m not sure the reviews I read on here, and the description in the Lonely planet, are entirely accurate. Certainly they´re not reflective on my experience. The staff are undoubtedly kind, good people. However, the accomodation is below par with poor showers and very dated rooms. I was kept awake... The hostel is well located on the main plaza and has basic but adequate rooms with overhead fans - Rurre can be very HOT. (The fan in our first room was fairly ineffective but we were able to change rooms for the second night and were able to sleep well despite the hot night.) Showers have inbuilt heaters but are... Handy location, walking distance to everything. Room clean cosy with hot water. Hammocks in the cool courtyard are great to relax in. Light easy breakfast included. Ceiling fans keep you cool of a night. I highly recommend. It won't blow your budget.

Good place to stay either side of jungle/pampas tours, which is what we did. Rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean. Hot shower - even a little too hot perhaps when its 40 degrees outside! Breakfast basic but fine. Good value overall. There isn't any way to book online, so we asked our jungle tour company to book us a... More
