Homemade wine, a host full of enthralling stories, comfortable beds, all made this a great night's stay. It's not a long walk to the town centre or the lake, yet the guesthouse sits in peaceful surroundings outside the bustle of the city's main roads. It was all quite charming, and well-worth the stop. I felt right at home.

I had a great time at Florian's place. The guesthouse provides a local atmosphere and has a big garden where you can sit and enjoy the completely homemade vegetables and coffee etc. Florian helped me to arrange my hiking trip and also arranged a taxi and more...

Florian's Guesthouse is a cozy, homey place with friendly people and good conversation. We felt very welcomed and appreciated the small details like the bikes on loan and the delicious homemade dinners. Our bedroom was comfortable and relaxing and the communal space was great!

Florian is a super-friendly and nice host. He invited us to a holiday celebration with his family, where we ate excellent roasted lamb. He gave us a good introduction into the history of Albania, and took us for a sightseeing tour (Turkish bridge, Rosafat castle) the next day. The guesthouse is located in a calm zone, its interior court completely... More

Wonderful hospitality, amazing food, beautiful views. We had an unforgettable stay with Florian and his family in this interesting little town. Any one interested in farming would also enjoy a stay here as many different fruits and vegetables are grown on the property.

Florian and his incredible family are absolutely awesome! - We had such an incredible time staying in (both!) of his properties and heck, they truly are both awesome! We were fed like kings, regaled with epic stories of Florian's hikes and adventures, amused with tales of famous Albanian car thieves and sent to all of the off the beaten path... More

I stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Florian invited us to his home on a farmland and I experienced delicious home cooked lamb rotisserie. He also arranged a homestay im Theth mountain region where I stayed one night to enjoy the splendor of the mountains. I highly recommend Florian.

I was picked up coming out of the bus from Tirana at some square in Shkodra and had no idea where I was going; it's just that I felt I had no options that I decided to get into the car with a nice man who said was going to take me to a cheap hostel. The hostel appeared to... More
