This is my second long stay in this hotel. Room was larger than a normal japan hotel. Vey good size. Location is superb beside the station. On the second trip, service was lacking ie : no shower cap, cleaning was not complete with rubbish still on table. I was very surprise! For those who like whisky, they have a nice... More

Rooms were nice and clean. View was really great, as we stayed on 25th floor. However all the furniture and bathroom looked really aged, as they are there since hotel opened (no idea when that was, but not recently, that´s for sure). Tattoos are not welcome in hotel sauna, nor in the hotel pool. No possibility to negotiate, just zero... More

I was in Kitakyushu for a business trip and our rooms were reserved for us. It has quite comfortable and clean rooms.Rooms are not so large but don't forget that u're in Japan=) The best part of the hotel is its location: It's attached to the Kokura Station, it takes only 5 minutes by walk. You are also 10 minutes... More

I like the hotel for the large room, convenience and the view. However there is improvement on the language capability of the staff. They gave us wrong direction on one restaurant and recommended another that is closed for that day. To double check you can use the tourists help at the train station.

If you're late booking a hotel in Hiroshima or Fukuoka, this place might be an option, since it is basically an extension of an important train station on the way. E.g Fukuoka is only 20' away by Shinkansen, and Onsen-heaven Beppu can be reached by Sonic train in less than two hours. However, this pseudo-chic business hotel (with additional hotel... More

Two things stood out for me: It has one of the most spacious bathrooms in Japanese hotels, an extensive amenities tray. It has an ice dispenser on our floor (23rd), from which I available myself to a bucket full of ice cubes. It is also connected to a 24hr convenience shop, in case you don't want to pay 'minibar' prices... More

A very good hotel adjacent to the Kokura station complex, I enjoyed my 4 night stay here...The rooms were well equipped and very clean with WIFI and thoughtful lighting and bathroom accessories. The toiletries were also good quality and especially the bead pillows were excellent. Breakfast had both Japanese and Western options, though I must say they repeated the menu... More

I stayed here for a conference, which was located at the nearby Kitakyushu International Conference Center. The cost for a room-night was amazingly low, close to $110/night including breakfast (estern and Japanese style). The staff were as helpful as possible and the usual Japanese over-service was evident. I did not dine in Naniwa, the main restaurant just off the lobby, but... More

I picked this hotel for the pool. However, no swimming before 11 AM. One day I took off an hour from business for a dip. I had to pay 21$, even though I am a long term guest. The rooms are good. The breakfast has a choice between Japanese and Western, good. There are three bars and lounges, but ALL... More
