The hotel room overlook the port and sea. Interesting to see the ships passing by and of course to view one of the bridges that appears in the movie Anata e. The hotel is conveniently located within a 3 minute walk to the station. Nearby is a reasonable beer and lamb restaurant. The hotel room rate is reasonable.

This hotel is conveniently located on Mojiko port, with a potentially great view of the channel between Honshu and Kyushu. Unfortunately, the rest is not really up to the price you pay. Location - just on the bank of Kanmon Strait View from window – gorgeous, hundreds of ships passing Kanmon everyday Food – huge choice of Asian and European meals Rooms – clean, equipped over standard Service - perfect

We stopped off here on our way from Tokyo to Kagoshima to stay overnight and visit a couple of the attractions. 3 minutes walk from the station, exit the station on the left and proceed directly ahead of you.
