My wife and I stayed here recently and we loved it. The owner, Kristine, couldn't have been more accommodating. This is an old school hotel with a nice little lobby and great little lobby bar. We would definitely stay here again.

We can't wait to go back. The hotel is clean, comfortable and located in the cutest town. The owner and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but will next time! Loved the room decor - all decorated warm and homey - I only wish I could have stayed until all the Christmas decorations... More

Another great stay at the Hotel Stebbins. The owner keeps renovating rooms with themes. The furnishng are high quality and decor tstefully done. We stayed in the Bayou Bend, very comfortable beds and a fantastic roomy shower.

Thank you for your return business! You have nooooo idea the impact yourself and the "one by one" number of return visitors have had on Hotel Stebbins, it's staff, and Algoma - we love that you love this place and keep returning! I'm always delighted to see you and your lovely lady:) Selfishly, I take away a happy memory for... More

You are definitely taking a step back in time the minute you drive up and step in door. There is nothing modern about it, and in this case that is a good thing! The decor is retro but pleasing. The location is unbeatable only a block from the marina and downtown. A group of 4 stayed in the Northwood’s suite... More

Thank you for checking us out this year! Our location is a great amenity. We realize many visit Algoma because of the charter fishing industry and we are excited when we can add to that and make your experience even more memorable! Happy to hear your great experience flowed throughout the day and evening in our dining room and with... More

Tom and I stayed here 4 times while in Wisconsin this July and August. This landmark hotel has been updated and overall it's all good. Some issues are there but they did a good job on this old lady. (The building, not the reviewer.) Kristine was very accommodating regarding our diet limits. The food was delicious and reasonable. The staff... More

I was delighted to see your review! I think I can speak for both myself and my staff when I say you and your husband were delightful guests to host. Yes, we continue to work towards improving all the spaces throughout the building and I am excited to get there while still focusing on our main goal, which is to... More

We stayed one night. Only room available was the "suite" over the pool table room. The "suite" consisted of three rooms connected by archways. Everything in the room was from the 1960's or earlier. No issues, just old and dated. More extension cords than beds with wires hanging out of the drop ceilings. Slept well after the bar noise from... More

Thank you for your honest review. It does sound as though my employees treated you well and found good customer service during your stay, which I am happy to hear. I have waited to post a response due to the fact that I really desired to implement changes to some of your concerns first prior to my response. I continue... More

Hotel Stebbins is a gem! The two different rooms I stayed in were lovely. The owner, Kristine, and all of her staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were well above average. The location is perfect and I look forward to a return trip. Thank you, Kristine!

We actually enjoyed our stay, it was interesting to say the least. It's in a historic building that is centrally located in Algoma, staying at Hotel Stebbins means you are going back in time. Phone booth in the lobby, tv in lobby has to be 35 years old - a bit hilarious. We appreciated the location, we walked to the... More

Slanted floors continue to be an engineering nightmare in a couple of the rooms, one being the Garden. It's the year of 1857's fault!:) (the year it was built). You will be happy to hear that this room is slated for a bathroom upgrade this winter season. I am excited to continue to make improvements, such as that, through the... More
