Although there was limited english spoken, the staff very helpful, the rooms were comfortable and the amenities were excellent. Free bus service to the snow and nearby railway station is a great benefit. The onsite ski rental shop can store your ski equipment free of charge with lock up lockers for boots etc. The hotel onsens are open 24 hours... More

This is my second time to this hotel. The first experience was very memorable and thus brought my friend to visit Kusatsu Town and stayed at this hotel. The Onsen was wonderful. Plenty of food, viking style for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from the town centre and we enjoyed walking along the small... More

Late Feb. does not always happen to see a good condition of the ski field. However, this Kusatsu resort located in a mountainous area back behind the grate Kanto field, where only two and half hour drive from Tokyo. There was also a limo service from Tokyo with a reasonable price, so I brought my parent, husband's parent, with my... More

We had been in Tokyo for 8 days and decided to visit some authentic Japanese hot springs for a few days. We booked this hotel and our train ticket, and upon arriving into town, we were absolutely stunned by the beauty that was the town. It's a gorgeous part of the world. The hotel is very nice and feels like... More

This was a very Japanese expereince- we encountered only one other Westerner on the entier trip to Kusatsu - an Austrailan bellhop who disappeared after check in only to mysteriously reappear two days later when we were checking out. So if you are not with someone who speaks Japanese this may not be the place for you. The room was... More
