If you want to enjoy traditional Japanese lodgings then this is the place. We arrived after dark so we didn't get to appreciate our room view until morning. Our room was what I expected. I really enjoyed staying here and experiencing a taste of traditional Japanese life. The rooms have a private bathroom, but the public baths are definitely worth a visit! For the more shy people, go later at night or early in the morning and they're deserted. The view from the room of the lake was beautiful. The kaiseki dinner was delicious.... More
