We stayed for 2 nights and paid a bit more for a view of the gorge (definitely worth it). The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, even the coffee was terrible. They did have a few apples that we took with us. They did not have a hairdryer in the room but one was available at the front desk.... More

The people here are friendly and the location is great. We had a room that faced the gorge and the views were beautiful. We woke up one morning looking at clouds hanging over the river with blue skies above; spectacular! The manager, Steve, was mayor of a neighboring town and is one of the nicest men we have ever met.... More

We state at this hotel on the way to Ohio with a group of motorcyclists. The rooms were clean and a nice size. The view of the gorge was awesome. The free breakfast was very disappointing and you could purchase breakfast which was the only real choice. We also had dinner there and was very disappointed. Many of the menu... More

We had a corner room. Great view and comfortable room. Breakfast that was included wasn't too much, but enough to start the day. You could order from the menu if you wanted. Staff nice Beautiful area to stay.

We stayed here the last weekend of April. The corner suite we reserved on the ground floor was spacious and modern, with a wonderful view of the river. Though the corner suites aren't listed as including a coffee maker there was one in the room. The beds were very comfortable, as was the couch; two nice sized flat screen TV's... More

We come here every year and have for 10 years; Dec. 29th and leave on New Year's Day. It is quiet and peaceful and you are warm and comfortable, if the snow comes. The staff members are very hospitable and fulfill any request, almost immediately. The Ranger will let you know of anything to watch for; this year we saw... More

I was here for one day in September and I have to admit, I had fun. To start things off, I had a pretty small room with a smaller bathroom. Traveling solo, that didn't bother me although if I was traveling with someone else, that room would have felt super tight. The TV was something out of the Flintstones but... More

We stayed here a couple of days for a wedding and wish we had been there a little longer. The room was average old still hotel room. Don't expect any modern day amenities such as coffeemaker, hair dryer, microwave or mini fridge in the standard room. If you can get a room over looking the canyon, it is amazing to... More

This is a wonderful place to stay! We stayed 2 nights at the lodge and had a wonderful time. Our room on the 1st floor was nice and roomy. It had a queen bed, a couch with pull out bed, a chair, a table with 4 chairs, 2 flat screen tv's, a microwave & refridgerator, and a nice big bathroom.... More

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The lodge is in a great location, just a short drive to the New River Gorge Bridge and Adventures on the Gorge. The room was clean and we had a great view of the Gorge from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I would definitely... More
