My husband and I had booked a room here for 4 nights and we're so looking forward to a beautiful view and a restful stay. We were so bummed. The room had a sliver of a view of the water which was way in the distance and the room was very small. I would have spent much of my time... more

Stayed one night at this lovely hotel in downtown Anacortes. Our room was small but very comfortable. We had 2 queen beds, small frig, sink, and a small but clean bathroom. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens. Easy walk to many restaurants, bars, shops, galleries. Best part of the stay was the staff. Front desk personnel went above and... more

My family of 5 arrived around 10:00 PM to check in. Our confirmation letter noted 2 adults and 3 children. We hauled our luggage up 1 flight of stairs ( the elevator doesn't go to the top floor). The room had 1 king bed. No roll-away available. Only 1 extra blanket available in the whole hotel. All they would say... more

We chose to stay in Anacortes so we could catch the early ferry to Victoria, BC. Arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. Check in and check out were quick and efficient. We had asked for a room with a balcony and water view. The hotel called us on our cell phone earlier in the day saying the people who had... more

After reading the reviews, we were a bit skeptical about staying at the Majestic, but our concerns were unfounded. We had a great visit with the staff, and the restaurant was top notch. The room was very clean, and we enjoyed the appointments throughout the old hotel. The owners have done a good job converting this old building into a... more

This hotel is at the end of Anacortes downtown and at the waters edge. There is a ship yard there that accounts for a lot of noise: welding and ship loading on our visit. Trucks were back and forth for a full day and night. The hotel is one of the nicest in the area. The hotel bar has a... more

This is a beautiful hotel. Charming, old-fashioned. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Clean and quaint, with a touch of posh. A VERY good restaurant across the street - can't remember the name, but still remember the meal - pulled pork with mango salsa. Delicious! There is also a very good used book store in the middle of the town. Can't... more

My husband and I decided to escape to the San Juan islands for our anniversary. We chose Anacortes for its location and proximity. Though Anacortes is a small place, we loved our 2 night, 3 day stay at the Majestic. No problems except for the second night when we had to call down to have robes brought to our room.... more

Although I had made my two-night reservation (Saturday and Sunday) over three months in advance of my stay - and confirmed my booking one week prior - I was advised when my wife and I arrived at the hotel at 4:00 pm on Saturday afternoon that the hotel was overbooked for Saturday night. I was told that we would be... more

The Majestic Inn is exactly what you'd expect in cutesy downtown Anacortes. We booked the cheapest room ($129), and while it was not big, it had inner bigness because of the tall ceilings. The bed was luxurious and the whole room nice and airy (it was ~80*) with numerous opening windows...complete with shutters! The only thing we lacked in the... more
