Spent one night in the King Suite. Initially we wanted a room with 2 queen beds but they indicated they were booked and all they had left was a king suite. We had a seperate bedroom with a King size bed and a pull down double in the living room. Our room was oddly shaped with one window only which... More

We stayed here the week of the 17th and our only regret is we should have stayed longer! We stayed in the upstairs family unit ( room 204 or was it 203?)-- very roomy and clean-- a large kitchen/dinning area, TV-living room, 2 beds and a bath. Master bedroom has a very large closet with a rollaway bed we used... More

We stayed at the Anaco Inn July 23rd, 2011 in room 205; this is one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in for the price! It had a huge bedroom, kitchen, living room, and large bathroom, all with a nice view from the second floor of the water. The office was very friendly and the place was spotless, the... More

We stayed 2 nights before and after a whale watch. In a queen room not a "villa". The room was adequate; not a 5 star rating. Overall the room was clean, but the jetted tub which we did not use could use a good scrubbing. Our room was a first floor exit to the quiet side street. Parking is adequate.... More

The Anaco Inn was a lovely place to stay - a quiet side street close to shopping, whale watch piers, a short drive to the "old town". Room was clean and much larger than usual hotel rooms. The kitchenette and guest laundry would have been very convenient for a longer stay. Continental breakfast was limited to toast/bagels/cereals but adequate. Jag... More

We enjoyed two pleasant nights in a Queen Villa. My teenagers (boy and girl) loved that they had private sleeping ares, and we enjoyed the money we saved by cooking in our room. Great hosts and friendly service. Breakfast room is small, but a nice place to sit and look out on the town.

We stayed one night at the Anaco Inn to rest up for a full day of Orca Whale watching the following morning. The two bed room that we stayed in was very quaint and was very nicely decorated and really made us feel like we were at an Inn. The room had the standard amenities such as soap, conditioner, etc... Pick this off the street since I could not find a B & B that would sleep 3 people that was affordable. Great place with a kitchen, gas fireplace, and separate bedrooms. Little sparse for cooking utensils, if you were really cooking. We were just enjoying. We ate twice at the Adrift Restaurant in town. The food and selection was... More

Both my partner and I have resided in the Greater Vancouver area for years. All to often we beat the I-5 corridor to Seattle or Oregon for time away to ourselves. We never suspected what would be in store for us if we took the Chuckanut Dr from Bellingham turning West on Hwy 20 to Anacortes (a short drive). The... More
