Overall, this is a fine campground for exploring in and around Anacortes. There were times during the day that the military planes could be heard and also nearby trains. However, nights were very quiet, and we slept with the windows open. The park was not full when we were there either so we had some privacy and our site was... More

After a long and winding trip through the north western states, and on our last 1/2 week before home, we were treated to the cleanest and most private campground on the trip. Reservations were made to check in in the middle of the long weekend and this would have necessitated a site move after the second day. Upon actually arriving... More

We were fortunate to have met some people in Seattle who recommend this park to us. I hope to have the opportunity to thank them! So now is my chance to recommend this park to YOU! It is in a beautiful 'forest setting' with plenty of room to negotiate turns and navigate in/out of spaces. There is plenty of open... More

My girlfriend and Myself have been travelling around the west coast of the US for about 3 months and have visited alot of RV resorts... Pioneer trails RV resort was one of the best. Spacious sites, Fire ring, nice facilities and very close to the ferry for the San juan islands. The staff was also very helpful! Indeed our rig... More

We are seasoned campers that found this gem on the internet. We don't write to many reviews of places on here but both remarked how we had to write one this time. Super friendly place that has it all. If you like pull through "parking lot" style sites...check. If you like back in wooded state/provincial park style sites.....check. Check in:... More

This is one of the nicest RV parks I think I've seen/stayed in, all sights are full hook-up with cable TV. Some sights are in trees or if you like the sun they have those too, large park, it can handle the biggest of RV there is no tent camping. Our sight was $36.00 a night, there are some other... More

The nightly rate was $49 for a super premium pull through site before tax. I am not aware of any discounts such as GS or AAA. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the large open space just inside the property line. This enabled me to park our 41' 5er easily without obstructing anyone else. Check-in was effortless and... More

My wife and I stayed in one of the small cabins for one night while exploring the area. Check in was fast and friendly, price was certainly right! The cabin has a desk and chair, microwave, fridge, cable tv, lights, a heater and a bed.(bring your own blankets, sheets and pillows) The only bad thing I can say about our... More

Our family always vacations on Whidbey Island, but our tenting days are over. Pioneer Trails has cabins that fit our family of 4 and our budget. It a cross between camping and a motel and we love it. Not for everyone as the bathrooms are a few sites away (just like camping), but we have a little cabin all to... More

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and were very impressed with everything! Large sites, most of which are in the trees. The campground is meticulously clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful (the owner personally guided us to our site and helped us back in). On holidays they hosted a B.B.Q. for all their guests! Free Wi-Fi and cable... More
