not a B&B, and "inn" sounds too quaint and cute for a bona fide motel. I stayed here when my flight was cancelled and I needed a place quickly. I was stuck with a smoking room as a result, but the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok. Was glad there was a computer in the lobby. Didn't... More

We stayed at the Island's Inn on Commercial street for one night and caught the ferry to Sidney, BC the next morning. The rooms are clean and very serviceable. There is a wine bar and cafe, but we didn't use it. We had to leave shortly after 7AM to catch the ferry, and their continental breakfast didn't start til 7:00,... More

I don't think it was dirty, but it didn't feel very clean,. I think just because everything was so outdated. Our balcony view was of a refinery. The lighting very dim and drabby. They type of place where I felt like i needed to wear my flip flops to walk around the room. It was just an ok place to... More

I stayed here one night between a business trip and a kayaking trip. It was a nice place; friendly staff, better-than-average continental breakfast, and the pool, though small, looked nice (I was too tired to check it out). I had dinner in the adjacent "wine bar" (I was expecting, you know, a bar, that you can sit at, but it... More

My Husband and I went with my Brother and Sister in law for a couple of nites. We had a terrific time. Each couple had their own room. There are a few older rooms which we had . They 're clean , just tired. My Brother and his Wife had a nicer room across from the pool . Looks like... More

We recently took relatives from Ontario for a short trip into the NW Washington area. After a spectacular drive along the North Cascades Highway, we stayed in Anacortes for 3 night at the Islands Inn. This motel is owned by people of Dutch origins and their attention to good old-fashioned hospitality was a delight. Their continental breakfast was mostly based... More

We stayed here on a Seattle-Port Townsend-Anacortes road trip. The room was large, with a fireplace in the corner of the room which we used. The Dutch style breakfast was simple but delicious with soft boiled eggs and fresh warm bread along with the other usual continental breakfast items. The inn is only a few minutes from downtown. There is... More

We had the best time staying in Anacortes at the Islands Inn and then going the following day to Lopez Island on the Washington State Ferry where we took a sea kayaking trip. It was a first for all of us and even though the weather wasn't warm we still had a great time and no one was cold! We'll... More

We stayed at the Islands Inn for two nights. At the beginning we had only planned for one night. But then we loved the jacuzzi, the breakfast and the friendly atmosphere so much that we decided to stay and extra night. When you drive by the motel on busy Commercial Ave in Anacortes, the Islands Inn looks just like any... More
