My husband and I called around Anacortes for the lowest price that didn't look too creepy. So Island Inn was a great surprise because it met the bargain price but was very charming, clean, and the staff was so accommodating. You can tell the place was redone with a lot of love. more

This is an older, moderately priced hotel. All of the staff including the cleaning staff were pleasant. Friday evening, we dined in the adjacent restaurant. It's filled with interesting antiques and paintings. If you have children, go elsewhere (unless they enjoy fine dining). Good food, good wine. Cameron, the owner, is a gracious host. And the salmon cheesecake was delicious.... more

This was our second stay here within the last few years. This time, we'd been camping with our tent trailer at Bay View State Park, but decided to bail out when heavy rain was forecast for the last day. We were offered a large room for $ 80 - king bed, flat-screen TV along with DVD player, and a water... more

We have stayed here twice, after the inn was recommended by another hotel in the area. Our rooms were comfortable, and we also enjoyed having a fireplace. The original Dutch breakfast was very good, but the continental breakfast they have now is good, too and allowed us to get an earlier start. more

My husband and I went on a Whale Watch Tour and stayed at the Islands Inn, a friend recommended staying there , we were treated very well , the front desk staff was very helpful in giving us directions to the Whale Watch boat as well as other things to do in town. Our room had just been remodeled a... more

I recently stayed at this Inn, it looked good but I was greeted by the the Host Bela, she was having a bad day, she was rude to me for no reason at all. Not what I expected to find in hospitality. The room was clean. I had a bad taste in my mouth so I failed to notice the... more

We just finished a 2 night stay at the Islands Inn; we were disappointed since there are so many good reviews of this motel. We stayed in an "older style" family unit with a "living room" and bedroom. Problems: stained sheets; no night stands in the bedroom; no book outlining hotel services; one tiny wastebasket for the whole unit. (We... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the Islands Inn with our 9 month old and our dog. The room had just been updated with new tiles and carpet. It was a spacious room with enough space for a king size bed, playpen, dog bed and room left over for our little guy to crawl around. The front desk was... more

My wife and I recently needed a place to crash before heading to the San Juan's for a trip. We found the Islands Inn by searching on google and decided to make a reservation. The room was run-down but clean and quiet. It featured the notorious "toilet phone" and I was actually happy that the bathroom had it's own heater... more
