Spent a full week at this hotel, and can't complain about anything. The rooms are old fashioned, but clean and pleasant. A perfectly adequate contintental breakfast is provided free of charge. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. The hotel is situated about 2 miles from the very quaint * downtown * Anacortes, but it is an easy walk. There... More

Dated but somewhat updated...check. Clean...check. Thats it. The only ice machine. ..broken. Room 102, Air conditioner....sounds HORRIBLE, waking you up every 10 minutes when it kicks on. Pet friendly? No area to take pet out to do it's business. Open at 7am for coffee. ...not! Still no coffee at 7:20 and had to get going. Sad. Our kids just moved... More

We stayed at Islands Inn for our anniversary, just an overnighter as we were planning on spending most of our 2 days exploring the area. Motel was about as average as you can get, which is fine by us. Clean room, dated decor (who cares?), and a little noisy from the old-style plumbing (but only when you flush). Well worth... More

My husband and I had a fireplace room with a king bed and private balcony. The balconey faced east and we could see Fildago Bay and Mt. Baker which was just beautiful. The two gals that run the desk area are very kind and helpful. They have a winter special which is one of the best we have seen from... More

We only stayed for one night before catching the 7:30am ferry to Orcas Island. The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable with a peek-a-boo view of the water (we were on the ground floor). The woman that checked us in was very friendly and informative of the area which was really nice as we've never been to... More

My husband and I have been traveling the US for 4 months and this is one of the best and most memorable motels we stayed in. Definitely worth paying extra for a fireplace room, we had a great time sat in front of the fire with a bottle of wine playing cards, and the room from the 2nd floor is... More

Very comfortable hotel in an awesome town full of hikes, trakls, marinas and wonderful restaurants. This is our first visit to Anacortes. So glad we are staying 3 days so we can take it all in. The hotel is older but quite well maintained. House keeping could definitely step up their attention to detail. The rooms have lots of options,... More

I based out of the Islands Inn while kayaking around various spots around Anacortes and Whidbey Island early in the year. This was a great place that is central and reasonably priced. There was a fireplace in the room which was great for warming up and drying wet gear off. The restaurant and room service provided good quality food at... More

Stayed here as we need a one night stop that was dog friendly. Booked a king room with fireplace. Room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. They provided a log for the fireplace. The continental breakfast was great with hard boiled eggs and fresh bread- a nice touch. Location is close to a few eateries but not close... More

I go up to Anacortes about 2 times a month during whale season. I volunteer at the whale museum to keep orcas wild. I have to leave really early in the am and the night before the front desk make sure I have a "care package" of food to go with me. They find a room for me to fit... More
