Beautiful area. Great location overlooking the water. Excellent service like you used to get years ago. Thanks for kicking our trip off right! Good choice if heading to San J uans but also good for relaxing get-a-way to scenic Anacortes

We were scheduled for an early ferry departure and Ship Harbor Inn, true to its name, is perfectly situated to get to the ferry on time. The view was beautiful and the room quite clean. I left my contoured pillow (not a cheap pillow) in the room. We emailed them and they said they would mail it to my home... More

If you wish to catch the early morning ship, And you don't mind the shape of the bill, It's the perfect place. The people were friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were clean with nice views, however the prices are steep in high season. We very much enjoyed the proximity to the ferry.

We stayed in cabin 9 for a long weekend. Beautiful colors inside, nice large front room, kitchenette with all utensils and appliances for morning coffee and such. An added bonus, beautiful patio area with fireplace and lots of tables for sitting out late at night, enjoying the beautiful scenery, even saw a couple dear meandering through valley below property. As this... We had #15 - cabin on the hill. It is set above the other rooms, a little nearer the road - but the view is amazing. This cabin has a kitchen, so we popped in to town and grabbed supplies. We grilled a steak and then enjoyed an evening cocktail on the deck.....as the sun was beginning to set we... More

Hello Deb S! Those pictures are amazing I’m glad you got to see some of the local wildlife and right outside your cabin too! The privacy is the main advantage of that hilltop cabin one of my favorite rooms however if you want something with more frills next time we have a King Suite right below it with a Jetted... More

We just walked by this place when we had 2 hours before our ferry to Orcas. It's not obvious as a place to eat, but they have a delicious menu of salads, sandwiches, soups and appetizers. Great wine and beer and a cute outdoor patio where we sat with our dog too. Such lovely owners and high quality food and... More

This hotel provides outstanding customer service and convenience. It's located close to the ferry terminal, airport and Flounder Bay Marina, which makes it an excellent place to begin or wind down vacation or travel plans in the San Juan Islands. The property offers some on site food, coffee, and beverage services. A continental breakfast us usually included as part of... More

If you are planning to catch an early ferry to the San Juans, the Ship Harbor Inn is perfect! The hotel was very accommodating for an early check out and friendly. The building is older but rooms are updated. The best part for our stay was being walking distance to the ferry terminal for an early morning ferry on a... More

Hi Wajere! What you did is the only way to go when it comes to catching the ferry, when you stay at the Ship Harbor Inn you are in walking distance of the ferry and if you have to drive the car on you can be first in line with views of the lines directly from most rooms. I’m glad... More

After a recent climb of Mt. Baker, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a couple of relaxing days along the Washington coast. The Ship Harbor Inn, with a relaxing in-room jacuzzi style tub, was a perfect choice in Anacortes. Hidden along the road to the ferry, and very close to Washington Park, this charming, romantic inn is... More

I was very impressed with the friendly service as well as the beautiful view from the large windows and balcony facing the harbor. It is within walking distance to the San Juan Islands ferry and a short drive to Washington Park that provides for beach access as well as scenic walks/hikes overlooking the Puget Sound with the San Juan Islands... Hey B W, I’m glad our location made it convenient to visit some of the best of Anacortes, I personally spend a lot of time at Washington Park and since we are just a hop skip and jump away it makes it an easy place to relax and unwind. We hope to see you and your family again soon. More
