My husband and I decided to spend the last night of our vacation at this lovely inn after a beautiful trip to the San Juan Islands. The room was recently remodeled, immaculate, warm and inviting. We had a delicious bistro dinner and glass of wine on the patio overlooking the bay. Eating here was better than going out! Breakfast was... More

If you want to be close to the ferry, and want a lovely, quiet place to stay, this is the place to be. Beautiful view from the grassy area and patios with outdoor fireplace. Very relaxing. Front desk staff extremely helpful. Our room was nice and clean. Only noise was from plumbing in other rooms. Breakfast area looks new and... More

We had a great stay here. We have two young children and needed somewhere they could have some space to run around. Our room was overlooking the grassy area and they had a great time running around it. There's a heated patio and we ordered pizza and all ate dinner there. The owners were so nice and we even had... The room and jacuzzi were fine but the noise of the plumbing operating from adjoining rooms at all hours of the night, plus the light coming in through the blinds on one side and from the outside light on the other (which we could not figure out how to turn off) meant that we got minimal sleep. We particularly wanted... More

We were only in Anacortes one night on our way between Seattle and Vancouver. We wanted to stay by the water and I found the Ship Harbor Inn. It is a few miles outside of town, overlooking the ferry dock. All of the buildings on the grounds look as if they have recently been refurbished and beautifully done. Our room... More

This was a nice, clean, pretty place to stay before catching the ferry to the San Juans. Very close to the ferry… and you can park your car in line, then walk back to eat breakfast! We didn't know this before, but will do it this way next time!

This was a very pleasant surprise. We exited form the ferry and as it was dark took the first spot we saw. Property overlooks the terminal and is very clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and they even had a little bistro for a night cap which was open until 10:30. They also have some in room service of... More

We stayed here one night in order to take an early morning ferry to Sidney. Check in staff was friendly. The hotel had been remodeled and grounds updated. Beautifully landscaped. The large patio area with outdoor fireplace was quite impressive. It would have been nice if they would serve breakfast at 6:30 or 6:45 to enable ferry riders to grab... More

We really enjoyed this quaint hotel right near the ferry. We could park the car for the ferry line in the early morning and walk back to the hotel for complimentary breakfast. Very clean, friendly staff. They also have a little bistrot with reasonably priced good quality wine and food items. We recommend staying in an upstairs unit as part... More

This is a very nice place. Room was clean with a balcony with a view of the harbor (mostly fog). It has a sink and refrigerator, so if you are traveling with food that's handy. Breakfast is included - standard offerings plus waffle maker. Best thing is if you are going to take the car ferry to San Juan Islands... More

Hello again Lorraine W, I'm happy you enjoyed the room and breakfast. Isn't the view of the fog clearing from the Puget Sound amazing? Many of our guests take advantage of the close proximity to the ferry, It's not so bad of a wait when you can come back up and have breakfast after you get your car in that... More
