Our cabin by the lake was one of only six, built in the 1920s, and had no TV; if you wanted WiFi service, you had to sit on the deck outside the office, located in the owners’ house. The cabin had a living area with a twin bed on the far wall, a bedroom with a double bed, a small... More

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the lovely Locharie Resort's cabin Christie. Perched 15 feet above the shoreline of Lake Quinault, the 1930's cabin is private, rustic and charming, with a small, fully equipped kitchen and a shower. It offers beautiful views of the ever-changing light over the mountains and water. Eight river otters frolicked just... More

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to be. Absolutely amazing views of Lake Quinalt. The owners were also so hospitable. I highly recommend and will return. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We stayed at the Olympus with our 2 children. We absolutely loved canoeing and kayaking in the morning which is included in your stay.

We stayed at the Olympus cabin for 3 days and it was amazing! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and the views are spectacular!! The cabin is a one bedroom with bunk beds in the living room. There are drapes separating the rooms. The main bed is a full size and does not have a view unless you... More

We stayed here for a weekend and it was wonderful. The cottages are cute and cozy and the views of the lake are fantastic. It's also close to hiking trails and the ocean. The owners were super friendly and helpful. I live in Boston so I'm not sure I'll make it back to this area again, but I would definitely... More

Everything about this place was great. Beautiful location right on the lake with access to kayaks, row boats, and canoes that allowed us to explore the lake. We stayed in the Col. Bob cabin and loved it. The cabin was very old, but extremely clean and well taken care of. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch of our cabin... More

A friend and I stayed at these cabins in June. We stayed in Storm King - lots of stairs to get to the cabin but perfect once there. The lake is beautiful especially at sunrise but hard to get to from the cabin because the stairs weren't very clear and the beach is covered in driftwood logs. The owners were... More

This was our fifth visit over 20 years. We go back again and again for the serenity, the wonderful innkeepers, the remarkable setting, and next time, it will be to check in with Walter, the genial host-cat. If you enjoy the outdoors and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, it gets no better than this.

Lochaerie Resort is simply gorgeous. Peaceful and tranquil setting on the shore of lake Quinault in the Quinault Rainforest this place is miles from anywhere so get groceries in Aberdeen or Forks. The property is beautifully landscaped with views of the lake, mountains, and forests and has 6 spacious, rustic, historical cabins set far apart from one another guaranteeing privacy... More

We stayed over the July 4 the weekend for 3 nights in a one bedroom cabin. The lake is beautiful. They had kayaks you could use for free. Our cabin had a fireplace and the first bundle of wood was free. We used the fireplace each night. The welcoming staff were friendly and helpful in our queries about fishing and... More
