Based on the reviews of Key Bridge Marriott that I had read before my stay, I was expecting the worse. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! I can't think of a single negative thing to stay about my three-night experience. Here are the positives: 1. Brian was able to upgrade my room at check-in. 2. My room was clean and comfortable.... The desk said that this is the second oldest Marriott hotel, and the first was knocked down decades ago. Clearly, Marriott is planning some other use for this beautiful site, and is just booking high school field trips, college football teams, and bargain-hunting points-users as the buildings deteriorate. The management and large security presence are what you'd expect in a... More

I stayed here in early November on a short business trip and this would not have been my first choice because of its location. It is about a 4 block walk to the Metro but you take your life into your hands just trying to cross the streets in the area, especially during rush hour. But many other hotels were... More

Dear Longwood Traveler, Thank you so much for sharing your experience of your recent stay here. The plumbing and sheet issues in your guest room can easily change a hotel stay from great to poor, and I’m so sorry that happened to you. If possible, please private message me the room you stayed in, so I may follow up with... More

I got a great price on Priceline for this convenient DC location. I found the room menu very pricey. My room was missing the complementary Twinnings tea samples, which I missed because I'm a tea drinker. The room was clean but in much need of updating...the sheer window drapes were just that...fraying from being so old! The bed and pillows... More

I'm giggling to myself as I write this. But, before I rip into this hotel, I just want to give a shout out to Wendy at the front desk. She didn't give me any special upgrades, so this isn't a "purchased" accolade. She's truly professional and thoroughly explained all of the amenities that the property offered AND told me where... For the Marriott name plate, this property shows it's age more than most. It's obvious some renovations have been made, and my room was clean and ready. Yet, there was some intangible that just left me feeling that this property wasn't quite as shiny or upscale as most big city Marriotts. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The... If I hadn't gotten such an awesome rate on Priceline, I would have checked out of this hotel. I was appalled at the state of disrepair and disregard for the cleanliness of this hotel. First the HVAC unit is antiquated, and the floors were so grimy that I didn't dare remove my slippers during the stay. The hotel is dark... More

From outside I had hope, it looked old, typical 70's, but I presumed that the hotel would have been at some point in the last few years renovated, plus the price for DC was ok. So I walk in and the lobby looks ok, looks renovated, the restaurant looks good, the lounge is modern. Here is what saves this place,... More

We recently stayed here for the Marine Corp Marathon. The prices were outrageous. The room and bathroom was old and worn. Stains on the wall were everywhere. Housekeeping was mediocre. My nephrew called the hotel "vintage." Bar and food prices were very high- $6 for a Coors light! I will say the food quality was pretty good. The location to... More

Hard to believe this is a Marriott run hotel. This was a last-minute getaway for me. I had air vouchers that I needed to use before the end of the year. So, I went on Priceline to look for hotel rooms in the DC area. I decided to lowball Priceline just for the fun of it to see what hotels... More
