I have stayed here before without any problem, but, my last visit in June was a very bad experience. Upon check-in I complained about my smokey room 857 and hallway to the hotel, which the hotel agreed was smokey. The best they could do was spray the room and hallway, but, that did not solve my congestion during my 3... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate your feedback and the ability to address this concern for the future. Our apologies for the smoke smell you experienced while at our property. After previous positive stays, we are disappointed this stay was less than exceptional. We are in the process of making the hotel a smoke... More

Stayed for one night - not much to do around the hotel. Has a few eating places. Hotel itself was lovely and staff especially Rhoel was amazing. Breakfast was up to the standard that is expected of Hyatt so I was happy overall with my stay. My only complaint was how small the bathrooms were, other than that two thumbs... More

I attended a conference at this hotel at the end of June, 2011. I am just completing residency and doing one more year of training so I could not afford the special "Conference Rate" of $210/night for 5 nights. Instead, I bid on hotels on Priceline. I was surprised to get this hotel, the same one at which the conference... More

There is nothing wrong with this hotel at all, except that Wifi costs $9.99 for 24 hours. Very clean, nice lobby, and I personally loved the glass elevators that gave you a nice view of Crystal City when high enough. The pool was really small for a hotel this large. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the concierge and... More

My family of 6 stayed here during our trip to Washington D.C. and were pleasantly surprised to find that it only took 10 minutes to get to downtown D.C. by rental car. There were lots of surrounding restaurants in walking distance. The hotel itself was clean and spacious enough for 5 adults (yes, one slept on two sofa chairs put... More

We normally stay at a Hyatt when we can, and this one was no disappointment. We were here for a convention held in the hotel, so we did not actually get to go outside. The room was immaculate, beds very comfortable, bathroom a bit on the small side but adequate for our needs. Had to pay extra for internet and... More

I recently attended a business meeting at the Hyatt Regency. As far as accommodations go, the meeting rooms were plentiful and spacious. They weren't completely soundproof, however, as a concurrent conference convening in a nearby room was making enough noise to be heard clearly and quite audibly in our room. The staff were friendly (those that spoke sufficient English), but... More

This hotel has been under rennovations for a couple of years. It's now finished and looks amazing. We come here every year with a group of students for our annual youth tour. Typically, we have zero issues with the hotel, but this year we had a couple of problems. The biggest issue was that because it was a group, the... More

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City for a business conference. This conference is held at the Regency annually and I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel updates from last year. They updated their bar/lounge area, as well as some of the rooms, coffee bar and décor. I was given a room on the 18th floor. The room... More
