Somehow nothing at this hotel worked quite right. Example: the breakfast card to hang on the door latch says "Breakfast served from 6:30 am", so I requested delivery at 6:30. At 6:50, still no breakfast, and I've never had a hotel miss my delivery time that badly, so I called room service to see what's up. "Oh, the kitchen opens... More

My brothers and I picked this hotel because it was near Arlington Cemetary. We came here to bury our mother by our father, a Korean War vet. From the time we checked in, it was a misery. There were no towels, there was not enough shampoo for the four people in our room and the rollaway we ordered was not... More

Great location and convenient to Metro, highway access and shopping. Staff friendly and helpful, although encountered some communication problems. Food Service was good. Room service was very good. Many fine places to eat nearby (within walking distance), from cafe's to full service "dining". Had problems with the shower and air conditioning. Most of the water from the shower was diverted... I was traveling here on business but also did many recreational things with my wife and friends who tagged along. The hotel is just fine, but it is a bit overpriced for what you get. I realize it is probably the going rate in the area, but I kind of expected a little bit more from it. Some issues include... More

Front desk staff was so nice and the rooms, clean and up to date. Full Cable channels as well, which is something I truly enjoy traveling all the time. But the real deal was the beds... super soft and I slept like a baby!

We needed a reasonably priced place to stay for our recent family vacation to DC and the Holiday Inn Arlington fit the bill. The desk staff was friendly and competent and the service and food at the restaurant was tasty and a good deal (kids eat free with an adult). Our room had two Queen sized beds and a mini... More

My wife was at a conference in Ballston last month, and I came up to stay with her one night. My wife liked this place better than the Hilton, which she stayed at a few months earlier. The beds were nice and comfortable, and they gave a USA Today paper during the week. A little confusion with the hotel staff... More

I stayed here while on a business trip recently and was very disappointed particularly since I had stayed in a HI the night before in Charlotte, NC and had a great experience. This hotel needs a lot of work and is quite expensive, certainly not worth the rate charged. The elevators are very old and you feel like you might... More

This HI is way overpriced for what you get. It was clean, and the room was spacious. The shuttle driver was great. The location was convenient for my needs. That's the good stuff. However, as a Platinum Priority Club member, I was given a room facing the intersection of the main highway (N. Fairfax) and Rt. 66 - the traffic... More

I stayed here during a business trip in November. It is a large hotel and runs efficiently. It does not offer anything special in the way of business facilities - there is free internet access in the bedrooms if you have your own laptop, otherwise pay for using the PC in the lobby area. Rooms are comfortable - not too... More
