Stayed for 3 nights..9/24 - 9/27. As we were there Weds with a checkout on Saturday all the hotels were charging the 'Business Traveler' rates - and to tell you the truth we did not want to pay $300 plus a night just to sleep. We decided on the Econo Lodge because the price was right, parking on-site was free... more

We stayed one night at the Econo Lodge. It was a pretty nice place, especially considering the price. Check in and check out went smooth. Our room was as promised, nice decor, and clean. The breakfast was OK, but not the best ever. Plus there really wasn't a nice place to sit and eat so we took our trays back... more

A very nice hotel situated in Arlington, Virginia (Very near to Washington D.C) The hotel is in a great location with only a short walk to the East falls church metro station which can take you straight into Washington D.C city centre. The hotel room was quite nice with a nice large flat screen TV - the bathroom was ok,... more

We stayed at this hotel because we didn't want to drive in and out of DC and didn't want to have to pay a fortune. It was close to the metro and had free parking and for that reason was a good deal. However, it is an econolodge and should be taken as such. The breakfast was on a table... more

This hotel is not much to look at. It's small and relatively old. The room air conditioner worked, but it sounded like it was near the end of its life. The continental breakfasts (served in the small lobby) were poorly organized the days we were there - they ran out of food and the milk was warm. However, the convenience... more

We stayed at the Econo Lodge after a tiring day in Washington, DC. I called the hotel first before checking in because we booked 2 rooms and we wanted the rooms to be beside or across each other and we were not disappointed. The receptionist was very nice and acknowledged our request. The rooms were ready when we got there,... more

Our family experience agrees with other recent reviews. As long as you know what to expect from Econo Lodge (clean room, small bathroom, no closet, etc) you will be pleasantly surprised. As stated in other reviews, the hotel is right off Route 66 (like RIGHT off Route 66, it was a little tough to find the entrance to the parking... more

I stayed at Econo Lodge Metro for 3 nights. I was a bit nervous before I booked the hotel because I think Econo Lodge is usually one of the cheapest ones in the chain hotel so you can't expect much. I did a lot of research and decided to take my chances even though the pictures of the outside of... more

Easy access to Washington DC, by using the metro system, which is about three fourths of a mile down the road. It looked like the hotel had just been remodeled with new carpet and paint. The bathrooms were clean but we had some trouble getting the shower knob to turn far enough to get any hot water. The beds were... more
