I checked in for a 3 night stay and my experience was just OK. Nice receptionist, the rooms were fine, though the strong smell of the cleaning liquids nearly triggered my asthma. The location was great in a quiet and secure neighborhood, and if you are commuting to DC, there is a bus (3A) that passes right in front of... More

After checking into The Inns of Virginia, we noticed a strong smell of pot in the hallways. The carpeting throughout the hotel was filthy and terribly worn. The mini refrigerator sounded like a bomb about to explode and the microwave was unusable unless you placed on the floor as there were few outlets and the cord reached none of them.... More

We were greeted by a very friendly person who served multiple positions at the registration desk. When I went to the room, I noticed that a trail of ants had made their way through the wall air conditioner. Before we unloaded our luggage I went back to the desk to notify them of this problem. I did not even have... More

We wanted to save money NOT staying in Washington DC while we visited. It was easy to get the places we wanted to go in DC from our location. We were put in the mini apartment-it has a kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, no dishes. We were there for 5 days so we had room to spread... More

I am gonna be simple on this. It beat my exception. What you pay is what you get. Competitive pricing, close to Washington, DC. Sits on Route 29 which is very important when in North VA. I didn't care much for bed and breakfast thing so long as I had somewhere to rest my head for my 3 night stay.... More

My wife and I recently visited Gettysburg, PA, Washington, DC and Arlington, VA. Given the astronomical hotel rates in DC, we decided to stay across the river in Arlington and use the MetroRail to get to DC. The only down side to our vacation was the Inns of Virginia in Arlington, VA (Badar Alam, General Manager), which turned out to... More

Not a great hotel, but if you're on a budget and sleeping under a bridge isn't an option, this place works. I'll admit it's not too far from downtown D.C. and I didn't see any live insects, so it's not all bad. The driveway is really steep - I don't know how they stay open in the wintertime. The back... I am sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience while staying at our Hotel. I am sorry to hear that you did not think the beds were comfortable as they were all upgraded and replaced last year. We have also upgraded the quality of our linens used on the beds. We strive to make a pleasant stay for... More

This is a budget 2 star hotel. The feel of the property is a older in style and decor. We had a very small room with 1 queen bed. Small bathroom with two thin bath towels and two hand towels . (Three would have been better). Loud fan turns on with light. Thankfully we bring a small night light so... More

No frills but perfectly fine. We enjoyed our stay, the room was nice although the passage smelt of smoke, but keeping the fan on constantly in the room helped to keep the smell at bay. Bed was a bit on the soft side but otherwise the room was great. Very easy to catch bus to metro station, so getting into... More

As Warren Buffet likes to say, "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get". With Inns of Virginia Arlington, you're getting great value. We've lived in the adjacent neighborhood for years and I've always wondered what this place was like. And while it's not terribly appealing on the outside, appearances can be deceiving. The rooms are clean, the... More
