Hotel is very convenient for Washington,Metro 5 mins walk and 4 stops to all the main attractions, but rooms leave room for improvement. We had a perfectly nice room, with 5 big holes in the wall where ,I assume a mirror once was.The restaurant, which had a great menu is closed at the weekends..really!If I book in to a four star hotel,I sort of... Dear Hilandlad, Thank you for choosing Le Meridien for your recent stay and for sharing your comments with us. I am glad you enjoyed the convenient location and I am truly sorry for your restaurant and room service experience. While the main restaurant is closed for dinner on Saturday and Sunday, we still have our lovely Latitude bar open where... More

I stayed here for a weekend with my boyfriend. We were originally put in a tiny room in the corner of the hotel, but the staff was incredibly helpful and we were relocated to a spacious room with a great view of the city and a nice jacuzzi tub. The location is also great as it is a short walk... More

I stayed at this hotel under its previous branding and it was much better. The front desk attendee proudly said they had redone all the rooms and restaurant - well they should have left them alone. I had two queen beds and one was in front of the full length mirror rendering it useless. The reading lights are on the... More

I had family stay here during the holidays as it was the most convenient place to stay in Arlington that allowed two small-medium sized dogs for overnight stays. This is a pet friendly hotel which was a great find, although the area immediately outside of the hotel is somewhat hectic with much traffic most times of the day. There is... More

I have stayed at the Hyatt, Hilton and Westin and Le Mer is easily the best. Stylish decor, excellent service, free Basic internet, good restaurant, excellent location close to the Metro. What more can one ask for?! Love this place, My wife finally got to stay in it after hearing me say good things about it, and she loved it... More

Requested room with king and river view 3 days in advance. When I arrived, was told no kings with view, only kings, or 2 queens with river view. Hotel was nowhere near capacity. This is a standard " lie" told by the industry. Not sure why, as its still a room you gotta clean. Rooms were small, TV on wall... More

The guest rooms are quite clean and of standard Westin/Hyatt/Hilton quality. Expect crisp linens and lots of pillows, as well as a nice desk to work from. However, the standard at this hotel quality level is tricky to standout from. This Le Meridien suffers a bit because it has a lobby on the third floor. You will have to take... More

Let me count the ways: Check-in is so speedy. The tubs are so cleany. Employees so friendly. I think I'm at Disney. I sleep like a baby. And enjoy a breakfast so tasty. Never encountered a issue. A minute after check out and I already miss you! Honestly, the best stay in the entire area, including Georgetown and Crystal City.... More

The set-up of the room was very comfortable for a brief (overnight) stay, and I had a beautiful view of the Potomac. If you stay during the winter and turn on the heat, however, the vent rattled all night. The location was terrific for heading into D.C., with everything about 15 minutes away. A good value.

This is a good location for visiting Georgetown on a budget. Before my criticisms, the good things. You can get a room in a great location for visiting Georgetown without paying D.C. prices. It is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute ($7) cab across the bridge to M Street. The rooms (even those promoted as "deluxe") are just standard... More
