The price was very good for the area. It was almost like you had to win over the staff to help them have an attitude that was better than grudging. They were helpful for sure, but I didn't get the feeling they really wanted to be in this business. The room was comfortable and clean; the cleaning staff did a... More

The Motel room was terrible, wall receptacles broken, white powder around edge of floor,I assume was insect repellent due to the ants that were crawling on furniture and on both beds.We had to threaten manager about the ants to get a little dedution from our bill.Shuttle driver very rude to us seniors getting on van.

AC was obviously (from the amount of dust and dirt in and on it) had not been working for quite some time. Why a hotel would rent out a room in summer without AC is way beyond me. Filthy throughout and material condition of facilities was that of a $40 / night dump. I traveled on business, and I can... More

My boyfriend and I were roadtripping through the east coast and wanted to stay in DC for a couple nights. I used expedia to find a hotel but on the way there we realized that the first days inn i chose was too far from all the attractions. So, I arranged for this hotel over the phone. Not knowing what... This place isn't worth your time or money. It's a dump and after dealing with the manager, it's obvious that he doesn't care about his motel or his customers. Customer service is nonexistent and the hotel itself is dirty and noisy, not to mention a bit scary. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and stress and spend your money on... More

A friend and I stayed three nights at this hotel. It is cheaper to stay multiple nights here if you register on line. The price was a little pricey for what they had, but considering the area, it was cheaper than most others. Trying to stay closer to DC would have been much more. This hotel is only about seven... I have stayed in many hotels and this is one of the worst. It was dirty smelly and noisy. Stains all over the walls, dirty moldy bathroom, dirty bedding and a stinky a/c. It was so bad i complained in the morning and the woman said nothing, just handed me a receipt with no charge! I asked her if this... More

Pros: Based on our searches across several sites, if you want or need to stay close to the main attractions in the DC area, this hotel has some of the best prices. Cons: We were originally planning to stay with a relative in Annapolis but their children came down with strep throat at the last minute and we didn't want... More

The hotel isn't great at all. It was the cheapest we could find in Washington Area so we weren't expecting much. The front desk lady was so rude and acted like we were an inconvenience being there. The Mantainence man was much nicer. The rooms are small and smelt funny but we only stayed two nights so it was only... More

Our experience was terrible! We checked in pretty late because we were both too tired to keep driving. When we arrived, the concierge was asleep in the lobby. I asked to be placed in a non-smoking room due to allergies. When we arrived to room 126, there was a distinct, stale odor in the room that included cigarette smoke. We... More
