This hotel was very clean; bathroom was spotless. Not afraid to bath grandchildren in the tub. The linen smelled fresh and clean with a hint of bleach. For me, this assured me that the linen was clean. Very comfortable beds. Great breakfast! Friendly wait staff. Great dining experience for me and my family. I was pleased.

My husband and I stay here often. Our daughter and grandson live about a mile away. We walk the bike path that is by the hotel to her house. Lovely walk. This is a favorite place for our company to book when employees are in town for training or other events. The location is wonderful because there are many restaurants and events in walking distance. The staff is awesome and it's like coming to a familiar place.

Great place in the DC Metro area to stay. Very quiet rooms, calm relaxing evening atmosphere. Great eating nearby, and public transportation very convenient to go into the District of Columbia. Very nice secure neighborhood in which you can walk around and go to nearby grocery store hair cuttery, bakery,and other shops.

I stayed here only because the hotel where the conference was held had filled up early. While it was not the most central/convenient location, Shirlington had plenty of restaurants and was perfectly pleasant. The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Added bonus is the grocery store across the street!
