We stayed here for 4 days back in Nov of 2011. On the outside it's not the best, but the inside is clean and well maintained and for the price you can't beat it. It is an older motel, but we did enjoy our stay. The staff was wonderful and willing to help on the drop of a dime. There... More

We stayed for three days at Inn of Rosslyn 19 - 22 October 2011, and found the hotel convenient, clean, and fine for a short stay. But the nicest thing was the kindness and help of the lady on Reception, called Evelyn. Thank you, Evelyn (I think that was her name!), from two visiting Brits. Robert and Glennis Aston, Horwich,... We had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. Specifically, Eden, the receptionist who even let us use her son's car seat in the shuttle van so that we could get the family to the Metro. The room was very clean. The doughnuts, bagels, coffee and OJ each morning were a big hit with the children (and us).... More

I stayed here for a family funeral at nearby Arlington Nat'l Cemetery, which is likely the reason this property exists, or still exists. The rooms are okay but the decor is right out of the Eisenhower-era. The breakfast is very basic, as in coffee and doughnuts. Unless you're hungry, find food elsewhere if you can. Local shopping is pretty hard... More

Don't believe in what you read in the ad. The "deluxe" breakfast is a joke. Only bagels and donuts, OJ & coffee. They even ran out of cream cheese. You got what you paid for. Just the basics, nothing more. The good thing is, it's a few blocks from the metro station, so you can get into DC without driving.

If you'ré paying less than $100 in DC you are in the lap of the Gods. This hotel is tired, run down and in need of a major refurbishment. HOWEVER, you get a comfortable bed, an ensuite (fairly clean), basic continental breakfast, walking distance to Rosslyn Metro, a free, if unreliable, shuttle to / from Reagan National, and Rosslyn Metro.... I booked into the hotel as there were no budget hotels available in the centre of Washington owing to an event and it was offering a good rate. The hotel itself was fine, no trouble with the room and helpful staff at reception. It is ten minutes walk from the metro. Free breakfast. The main problem was with shuttle. I... More

When every hotel in the neighbourhood costs you over 200 bucks, I think this is a great deal! The staff were all very nice and when we reported a problem with the bathtub, they almost came immediately to fix it. Sure the hotel is not trendy and doesn't have much amenities, but this is an excellent place if you're looking... More

I stayed for a couple of nights here during the business trip here. The place looks somewhat weird outside, more like a rundown motel than a hotel. They put a lot of stuffs in the room that are either not working or very old: coffee maker is broken, window airconditioner loud as a motorcycle that provides very little cool even... More

this hotel terrified me from the exterior but it is very clean and the staff was extremely nice. also the breakfast was decent and free. what's mind boggling is how they don't spend even a small amount of money so that it is cosmetically more appealing. the front office window is broken in about 10 places, my room had a...
