We were at this location long term and it was very convenient to the entire Clarendon and Balltson area. We were able to walk and bike to MANY shops and restaurants nearby. There were several great grocery stores nearby too. Biking was so easy, as there are many bike lanes on the roads in Arlington, including into Georgetown.

I had a month of training in the DC area in between assignments and stayed here with my family of 4. Quite simply, you will not find a better value for your money (especially if you're on per diem), but it was a bit short of perfect. The important thing: though this will show up on hotel searches, it is... More

I stayed in Hotel AKA from Feb 2011 to Aug 2011 as an extended stay option; however I think their minimum stay is two nights. The service was awesome and each of the hotel team members was extremely professional and helpful. The rooms are large loft like suites with great kitchens and baths. They are are extremely modern with a... More

I stayed at AKA for a week in March - I needed to go to go both to a training in Virginia and consultations in Washington DC and the location was just perfect for both. I enjoyed the apartment tremendously - although getting a two-bedroom apartment all by myself made me sad that I didn t take my family with... More

I am actually currently staying in the AKA Virginia Square at the moment (March 2011). This is my second visit, following my first stay in February. Immediately upon entering the lobby, it felt like home! The staff remembered me from the first visit (asked conversational questions based on previous conversations we've had) and were very welcoming. During my first stay... More

We stayed two weeks in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment at Hotel AKA. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The apartment is close to the metro station, has fast wifi, free parking, free light breakfast and the furnishings are very modern. I loved the bathroom, which are modern and mould free. The beds are comfortable and the apartment appears... More

I spent one week in the DC area with my family of five in a very comfortable, large, bright, modern and well appointed apartment. Free parking, a "refine" complimentary continental breakfast, internet, subway and shops a few blocks away make this a great choice for a large family which would otherwise had to pay for two rooms in a hotel.

I was in town for a 2 week training and I was so glad I decided to stay here. I loved that I chose this 2 bedroom condo with living room, dining room, and kitchen over a standard hotel room closer to my class site. It was a mile walk but definitely worth it. The bathroom had a soaking tub... More

My wife and I stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on a high floor with a lanai for 2 weeks while attending a course in VA. The apartment was spacious and fully equipped with washer/dryer and full kitchen. Parking is free in the secured basement and the metro stop is 1.5 block walk. A free complimentary breakfast was provided in... More
