we stayed at the Hampton Inn for 4 nights in April 2013. Rooms are very clean,huge and very comfortable and well maintained. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The subway system is very nearby and easy to use to get to all the attractions in Washington. Highly recommend this hotel

If you don't mind hallway flooding, vacuuming at 6 AM noise, or exploding toilet tanks, this is the hotel for you. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was good, but the area is very sterile and uninteresting. Unfortunately, I had already booked another stay with an unrefundable rate, but I'd cancel in a heartbeat if I could.

Good value with breakfast each morning and hot cocoa, and coffee available throughout the day. Rooms are sized well and the beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient to the tourist sites in Washington D.C.

quick weekend trip to DC, had a nice stay with a comfortable room. Didnt care about ammenities as I was out and about all day. Nearby sports bar to watch sports and have a beer, great spot. Walking distance to the metro and short ride to downtown DC.
