We tried this Arlington Best Western as our most recent DC sightseeing base, and were very pleased: it was quiet, comfortable and most of all very convenient for walking/metroing into the city. We will definitely stay again, esp. if the rates remain reasonable.

This is my second stay at this hotel in as many months. This trip, I stayed in room 209 for two nights and then in room 105 for one night on the return leg of a east coast road trip. Both of the rooms I stayed in this time around are what they call "courtyard" rooms. They mean parking lot... More

Short and concise on this one... EVERYTHING was clean, EVERYBODY smiled, GREAT fresh coffee in lobby. CLOSE to many resturants/metro/memorials!!!!! Recently renovated......a happy home for 4 nights. Free wireless, rooms have flat screens, resturant on premises. This is a superior location for touring the entire local and D.C area. P.S. bring your gps if driving in this metropolitan madhouse!! ants in the bathroom..the complimentary coffee was nice though in the lobby, so too was my pic of the fire engine that answered the fire alarm..twice, the second time we were leaving the hotel we were bumping into others walking in, they had been told by the management that it was ok to saunter back in, i replied i think... The Iwo Jima is about what it holds itself out to be. For the DC area, it's cheap. It is near Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima Monument which is how I wound up there. Rooms are typical U.S. Best Western which is to say that something tells you that you wish you had flipflops 'cause the rugs feel... More

My boyfriend and I just came back from our DC Cherry Blossom trip. At first we were going to book the Best Western Capitol Skyline. However, the price went up right before we decided to book and luckily we found the one in Rosslyn. I've stayed at Best Western numerous times and even though none of them was "luxury", they... I frequently travel to Rosslyn, VA for business and usually stay at one of the oricier hotels somewhat closer to the Metro. However, this trip was on short notice, my usual hotels were booked, and so I tried the Quality Inn Iwo Jima for the first time. While not as upscale as others in the area, I was pleasantly surprised... More

First let me start by saying that my husband travels alot, and we used hotel points for this stay. If we were paying (I'm not sure what the rate is) we might not have been as happy. Check in was no problem. The desk staff gave us several maps of Washington and the area. Part of the hotel was under... More

I arrived with my son who is 11, for a few days of sightseeing in DC. The first room they gave me, was in the old part of the complex(think old motels). The air conditioning didn't work at all and the TV was broken with no cable. I went to the desk and asked to change rooms to the newer... More
