We stayed here for four nights while touring DC. Nice clean hotel, free parking, and about 4/5 blocks to the Metro. You can walk to the Iwo Jima monument easily from here also. Offsetting the lower pricing, you lose time downtown taking the metro, just depends on what you are looking to do and how much time you want to... More

Stayed here for a week while attending a training class at Homeland Security. Metro stop within walking distance to get me to my destination daily. The hotel is older and needs some renevations. By the way a bit hard to find even with GPS, you may miss it and have to take a couple of attempts. I got a King... More

Clean comfortable rooms, some need updating but non the less are clean, with 24 hour coffee in lobby. Also fruit. We have stayed in the main building near pool and desk several times but never in the drive up motel portion. We have always had an above avg stay and will continue to stay here for our trips to DC.... More

We stayed here for two nights at this motel. It was near the metro stop and many eating establishments and supermarkets making it easy to explore DC. However, not all Best Westerns are created equally and it was definitely more of the motel feel. There was a restaurant attached to the Best Western but it wasn't anything special. There were... I have too say...I read a couple of negative reviews here and although there were more positive reviews....the negatives RULE!!!! This place is a pure dump. You have prostitutes running John's in and out all night.....as I was approached twice in 1 night by 2 seperate girls. The rooms need a serious upgrade. The young lady whom checked me in... More

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the downtown sites at Washington DC. It is close to a metro station as well and is about 10-20 minutes driving distance from most downtown sites. Other than that there is nothing much to write about this hotel. We recently stayed there for 5 nights in 2 Queen bed room.... More

I was here for 8 days and thought that the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was in a safe location, and the service was very good and consistent. For the price, I thought this was a great deal. The minor drawbacks: The refrigerator in my room didn't work and had a terrible smell. As I was on a... More

I had stayed at this hotel in the past and would previously have given it a reasonably good review. based on its location, reasonable price, and acceptable if somewhat outdated amenities. While the service during my previous stays was never exceptional, I always considered it adequate. However, during my most recent stay, the absolute lack of any customer service ethos... More

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and it was perfect for us. We stayed on the first floor of the motel, close to the pool and it was very quiet and comfortable. The decor was 'tired' and it smelled a little bit musty when we first arrived, but the smell did not last for long. The room was clean,... More

after reading many of the reviews, we stayed here and were not disappointed. the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, the parking free, and the walk to the metro was 7 to 10 minutes. the overall description of this hotel is "tired". by that i mean it could use a face lift, but it was perfect for our purpose. there...
