Coneniently located a couple blocks from the Metro and within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops of Old Town. Nice staff, good breakfast, exceptional shuttle service, quiet area. Everything was clean and well furnished. We received a excellent rate and would stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is great, except the condition of the room. The sofa bed was too uncomfortable to sleep on, and the sofa itself was really badly stained. The kitchen area and bedroom were nice. This property definitely needs updating - bathrooms and furnishings.

My wife and I had an overnight stay in the Residence Inn on duke Street in Alexandria's Old Town. the hotel is close to the heart of Old Town and very convenient to the restaurants and shops on King Street. there is also a free shuttle to Old Town and the Metro Station. Our one bedroom suite was in great... More

If you're looking for an upscale hotel, this is not it. But Marriott does seem to have the formula nailed for spacious, relaxed and affordable. 3 blocks to the heart of shopping and restaurants. Enclosed, secure parking garage was an extra $18 per night. Complimentary breakfast was a filling and close cousin to the other chains. The busy Duke St... More

Highly recommend this hotel. Service is friendly and helpful and the hotel is excellent located to Old Town and only 2 blocks to Metro. A Whole Foods is also located a block up the street. It has a decent workout room also.

I recently stayed at this location on a visit to Washington, D.C. It is a great location, close to the subway and airport. The hotel picks you up at the subway station and also will take you to the Masonic Temple if you wish to tour the site. Its locate in Old Town Alexander a must see location . It... More

Forget memories of other Resident Inn experiences over the years, this property is a top-notch luxury feeling hotel that just happens to have min-kitchens in each room. Its a large property (8 floors 6 are rooms) with a large lobby and second floor dedicated to fitness and meetings. The rooms have individually controlled temperature settings and large flat screen HD... More

Reasonably priced hotel for families with great access to the Metro and Old Town. The front desk staff were simply fantastic and very helpful as also the breakfast area staff and the shuttle drivers. The choice of food is good. Maybe they could offer healthier options such as egg whites/cholesterol free eggs. The big negatives are the furnishings and the... More

Prices at nice hotels in DC are outrageous so I looked for a convenient location outside of DC. The Old Town Alexandria Residence Inn was perfect. It was more reasonably priced and just a 3 block walk to the Metro station. It was nice to come back each evening and choose from the many restaurants in Old Town. They are... More

We've stayed at this Residence Inn whenever we've come for a weekend overnight to Alexandria. It's in a great location where you can walk to the metro or old town and we always manage to get a room for about $109! It just can't be beaten for amenities, location and price.
